We were profoundly disappointed by our relatively brief experience with Sandy Spring Builders. We ultimately went with another builder with whom we have been very satisfied, but only after paying thousands to Sandy Spring that we apparently cannot get back.

I had the opportunity to work for Sandy Spring Builders when first starting my career in design. Their genuine connection with their client’s and willingness to go above and beyond, are some of the most pivotal things I learned from the owners of SSB and which I have now applied to my own company. Sandy Spring Builders has always been cutting edge with their construction techniques, innovative products, and on top of the design trends. Their numerous awards and recognitions are well deserved. Being able to see the transparent integrity of the company while working there, I can whole-heartedly recommend Sandy Spring Builders to all of my friends and family looking to renovate or build a new home!

Sandy Spring builders built our custom house over 2 years ago and we would recommend them to everyone that is looking for a professional, honorable, and extensive team. From the very beginning we had a terrific experience with SS staff and were cared for the whole way. SS works with integrity and honesty which is hard to come by in a builder these days. A big shout out to Robert Pincus whose knowledge and creativity is spot on!!! We love our dream house and thank SS Builders from the bottoms of our hearts.

Sandy Spring Builders are the best Builders in the DC Metro Area. They built my custom home in Phillips Park. I am an Interior Designer and have a strong Design Aesthetic. They met all my needs and some. There attention to detail and follow up and enthusiasm is excellent. I highly recommend hiring them!

We have just completed a home construction with Sandy Spring Builders. We were warned that home construction was stressful and fraught with delays and unanticipated expense. Our experience was completely the opposite. SSB from the start of negotiations to now - our occupancy - has been a delight to work with. Not only is their work top quality, they are creatively inspired, and meticulously attentive with each detail. Their involvement continues as they follow-up to ensure every detail is perfectly to our satisfaction. You will find cheaper builders, but you will NOT find a better builder. We only wish we could do it again!

Capon Cleaning Contractors, Inc. works with Sandy Spring Builders as a subcontractor providing the final cleaning services to prepare for inspection and occupancy. We have work with residential and commercial builders and contractors in the DC Metro area for almost 30 years. We have worked with many hundreds of custom home builders and none works as well with their subcontractors. The professionalism and planning is evident from beginning to end which makes working with all the other trades easier and helps deliver "exceptional" homes.

Sandy Spring Builders are great to work with. They do what they say, even years later, ensuring that you are still happy with their work. They like to call themselves "your builder for life" and I happily accept that promise. After having them build one house for us, we moved to a new area and hired them again for renovations. The owners are actively involved, and are filled with great ideas and enthusiasm. They are a top quality organization and I can't recommend them enough!
