Nuria Pla Studio is an European design firm specializing in residential design for both remodel and new construction. Our work combines fresh, modern style with sustainable practice to achieve inspiring and inviting spaces. We are committed to listening to our clients and surpassing their expectations in design, function, timeliness and cost. We work at all scales of design, from interior renovations to new building sites and we strive to make each project unique. Nuria Pla was born and raised in Catalonia (Spain). Her involvement in design began through her father's architecture firm. These influences enhanced her passion in design at a very young age. She graduated with Honors in Architecture from the Technical High School of Architecture La Salle (Barcelona), and later earned a Master’s of Interior Design from the ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering (Barcelona). Nuria also worked with leading architecture and interior design firms in Barcelona. In 2013, Nuria started her own studio in the U.S, practicing in Arizona and California. After 6 years, she moved back to Barcelona with deeper knowledge and experience. She follows a strong work ethics and is driven by a love for contemporary design and craftsmanship. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Nuria. As two full-time professionals, this minor renovation, renderings, new furniture and budget projections was very reasonable. Her quality of work was impressive. She took into consideration both our opinions. We went slightly over budget due to last minute additions we had added. Without hesitation we would use her services again!

Nuria Pla has done an excellent job at renovating our house in Phoenix that now looks and feels as a new, bigger and welcoming place to live and entertain. Our house now has a contemporary look with clean lines and ample rooms. It never occurred to me that our house could look so beautiful. Our renovation has been the best investment that we have made in a long time. It is amazing what she has done; and we are thoroughly enjoying our new house. Nuria is an extraordinarily talented architect and interior decorator. She combines a unique understanding of design with patience and willingness to listen to her clients. She met with us numerous times and led us through the difficult path of buying furniture, completely remodeling the interior of our house and reaching a beautiful final product. She had a vision that she did not impose on us but that adjusted it to our needs. She is very responsible and deeply cares about her work staying on budget and on schedule. Nuria designed a Hawaii treehouse bungalow for a property that we have been manicuring for many years. We were so happy with the design and the use of small areas. She also spoke sense to us from a building perspective. Now that we are beginning the building process, the building and permitting officials have made this clear. She also incorporated the very important " tree through the house". We had watched treehouse shows and had a million preconceived ideas and Nuria was very helpful in creating the best design despite our having too many ideas. We highly recommend her. She is passionate about her designs and we want these passionate types involved as we put our own hearts into creating a magical space. We are eager to send in progress pictures of our treehouse on the big island. Aloha and Mahalo

Nuria was a pleasure to work with and has excellent design ideas. Our project on Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley was a challenging one and Nuria approached it with excitement and enthusiasm. Her work was extremely organized, accurate and thorough. Her creativeness help us transform a 1960's home into a modern breathtaking property. Nuria is highly skilled at interpreting design vision and executing it. We not only would work with Nuria again, but would highly recommend her.

I partnered with Nuria on my first major home purchase/renovation. I purchased a 3B/2B and converted it into a 4BR/3B and added a garage. We also blew out the living room, dining room and kitchen into one large grate room. Nuria was instrumental in designing and helping me mange the contractors throughout the entire process. To say I was a neophyte in regards to home renovation would have been kind. I now have the home I always wanted. Would I work with Nuria again? Absolutely.

Nuria's designs are outstanding. She managed to create a design that turned our late 70's "Taco Bell" house into a clean lined mid century house that we envisioned. She was very helpful with preparing the plans for our HOA. We are looking forward for the construction to begin.

Nuria and I have worked together on several projects and she is an outstanding designer. She has a keen eye for design and excellent sense of flow. She managed to design a challenging piece of furniture and the result was terrific. I specially appreciated her attention to detail.
