The Reynolds Group was a tremendous help to me. I was selling my house and needed to manage repairs, while also holding down a full-time job. Doug assigned Brad to be the general manager of the project and Brad made it easy for me to leave for work each day, knowing he had it under control. The cost was right, the time savings (and lowered aggravation) was immeasurable. I would not hesitate to hire Doug again.

We worked with Doug and his design team on a major remodeling of our home, and Doug and his team had very creative ideas on how to improve the infrastructure, modify the floor plans and introduce design features that reflect current architecture styles. We worked with Doug Reynolds and his stellar team on the architectural design, construction and interior design of our custom country manor style home. Our project was particularly challenging due to our home’s partial location in a flood plain but Doug was 100% up to the challenge and did a terrific job designing and building our home safely and securely given these unique environmental issues with our property. We absolutely love the exterior and interior architectural design of our home as well as its interior design. Additionally, Doug and his team use only the highest quality subcontractors and building materials resulting in an extremely well constructed, long lasting and beautiful home. Reynolds Architecture was hired to provide a design build for a home in Winnetka Il. The design process was a real learning experience, Reynolds made the experience and pricing of all material choices understandable and continued to add value to me the buyer thru out the entire process. Building a home for the first time was a large undertaking for us and we spent a great deal of time with the Reynolds group defining both our wants and needs for our new home. Reynolds created a very clear picture from the many things we told them we wanted within our home. We were involved in every aspect of the project but the Reynolds group executed the actual build in a professional manner- on time and within our agreed upon budget. We did not have any big surprises and were able to make small changes as the project went from a drawing to an actual home. Our project results were better than we could have expected and we love our home. I would use Reynolds Group to build my next home but do not think we will ever leave this one. Reynolds really builds great basements for the kids and for the big kids like me (Golf Room, basketball court, Movie room, Workout room) providing great family time. Bottom line for me: Reynolds Group built a quality home in a professional manner in a reasonable time frame. Last thing and maybe the most important is the after care. After you pay the money and move into your home and find things that need minor adjustment like how do I set the temp for the heated floor or where is the water shutoff for the outside hose. They have spent as much time as needed to fix the punch list and continue to be helpful today. Reynolds has built 4 or 5 houses next to mine and everyone is happy and continues to tell friends that they live in a Reynolds home.

Retained the company to remedy the pre buy inspection list produced by the "Buyer" Actually should have hired Reynolds first before I put the property on the market! They did a professional and cost effective job without the over the top pricing. Also their reputation gave the "Buyer" comfort that the work would be done correctly. A win , win

Reynolds Architecture is an excellent firm to work with for a new home or remodeling project. They are extremely creative, detailed and professional. I really like the way they focus on the needs of the customer and then develop the right solution. Their design work is innovative and original yet practical. We are currently using Doug Reynolds / Reynolds Architecture to help us design our home. He has been fantastic so far: 1) Doug has a lot of connections in the northern suburbs of Chicago - he was instrumental in helping us find a lot before the lot was listed on the market. Sellers talk to Doug first because they know that he can help put them in touch with potential buyers. 2) Since we purchased the property, Doug and his team have been incredibly helpful with the demolition process, obtaining permits, identifying the best vendors to use for tree removals, etc. 3) We have just started the design process with Doug, but we are very happy so far - he is very creative and has had great design ideas. We just completed our plan for the first floor and we are very happy with the outcome. We highly recommend Reynolds Architecture.

Working with the Reynolds Architecture Group, and Doug Reynolds specifically was a wonderful experience that resulted in a very well built, beautiful home designed to our needs. The team listened well in the planning stages, and executed the project with complete dedication; adding value all along the way. The Reynolds Team was mindful of our budget, and timeline. They worked with us to afford the house of our dreams, and managed to get us in our house when they said they would. As with any major construction project there were some bumps along the way, but the team was professional in resolving the issues to everyone's satisfaction. Even the punch-list follow-up has been great. While Doug and his team have their own standards, they worked with us to find creative alternatives tor mechanical and design finishes that were outside their norm. Here's the best thing...we trusted that the Reynolds Group was working with us. It was a partnership. They didn't just give us what we wanted; they/Doug had ideas that were beyond what we could imagine. For example our foyer doesn't have a staircase, and we were okay with a simple box entry. Doug politely and over time sold us on his idea for something special in the entry. We now have an incredible domed ceiling that graciously greets our guests. Building a house can be stressful with so many decisions. We created our own stress by being engaged in the entire process. But the team managed us. In our weekly meetings we found common ground, respect and even laughter, making the whole experience very positive. We highly recommend Reynolds Architecture for any design and building project.

We hired the Reynolds Group to design and build a new single-family home. The entire process exceeded our expectations, beginning with the architectual design and ending with the occupancy of our new home. Everyone at Reynolds Group was a pleasure to work with and we were thrilled with the end result. My family and I would recommend Doug and his team to everyone. Doug and the team at Reynolds designed and built our home during 2011 / 2012. My wife and I looked for homes for over 3 years and always loved Doug's work and style. Initially, we hired Doug as our architect to design our home with the expectation that we would bid the project out to other general contractors, fearing that Doug would be too expensive. Surprisingly, on virtually every major line item, Doug's prices were generally in line (or he worked hard to get subcontractors to bring the prices down). On certain line items where prices were higher (typically on the finishing end), Doug explained to us the difference in quality and detail and showed us examples of work done by his subcontractors. He explained to us how we'd risk losing the quality we wanted by choosing less expensive and likely less experienced subcontractors. After a long process of considering multiple GC's, we decided to stick with Doug and his team. In hindsight, we couldn't be happier we did. The Reynolds team and their attention to detail is superb. They are meticulous and they hold their subcontractors to the highest standards in finishing their work. They go out of their way to make the decision making process easy and all have an excellent sense of style when tying different elements of the finishing details together. There's something special about the quality of their work and the style of their homes and everyone who's set foot in our house has been extremely complimentary. Most importantly, my wife and I often marvel at the feeling that there isn't one thing we'd change after having lived in the home for over 6 months. If you are interested in building a home that will last a lifetime (and probably longer), Doug and his team are an excellent choice.

From an open basement space the Reynolds Group, designed and built out a walk-in 1300 bottle wine cellar combined with a large integrated copper bar and game room. Refurbished a separate theater room. Services were provided very timely and professionally. All contractors were excellent and provided great workmanship. I am extremely pleased with the end result and it stands as a unique showpiece of my home.

I am in the process of building my 3rd home with the Reynolds Group, and am thrilled (once again!) with what they provide.
