“Total Pool and Spa designed and built our free-form pool. They developed a clearly depicted design which we co-created and executed it beautifully. The project came in at budget and within the time frame which they had indicated. The job was quite intricate and required Total Pool & Spa to draw on additional resources such as for the landscape design, stone work, and construction of the pool house. In all cases these trade people were extremely proficient and very professional. The total effect of the pool makes it appear as if you came upon a hot spring. It begins as a stream, then feeds into the hot tub, which in effect fills up and spills over in a waterfall into the pool itself. Total Pool incorporated an island, a bridge, (which has water breaking over it) and the free-formed pool itself. Total Pool and Spa did an absolutely outstanding job! Total Pool also performs the maintenance on the pool. They are dedicated to keeping it beautiful and are extremely responsive to any problems that occur. From May through October, my family lives at the pool. We’ve since added other elements such as a beautiful stone island to provide cooking space and a flat screen TV. It really is our sanctuary! Thanks Total Pool & Spa!!”

“We extended our property by 30 feet and installed an in- ground vinyl pool. We also installed a 2 tiered patio area with a hot tub and lavish landscaping. We loved working with Nick at Lang Pool as he was honest, hands on, and was always in contact with us answering any questions we had or addressing any concerns. Working with Lang Pool was like "one stop shopping". They demoed our old deck, excavated the pool area, built up the extended property, built the pool, installed the patios, and hooked us up with an excellent electrician, and landscape and fencing contractor. They even replaced the clapboard where our old deck was. This made the project a lot easier as we did not have to look for people on our own to handle those aspects of the project. All in all we were VERY pleased with the work, professionalism and the outcome while working with Nick and Lang Pool.”

“I met David Katz when I was interviewing landscape architects for a pool and spa I wanted to build on a property I'd recently acquired in the Hudson Valley. I'm a business person myself and very careful when choosing who I work with. Accordingly, I interviewed 5 different architects before choosing to go with Elite.
Everyone I met with was talented, but David Katz was on a different level. Whereas others would walk the property and talk about what they thought, after I'd walked the property with David and we had talked, he started drawing. Within 15 minutes, I had a full rendition of what was clearly right for the property.
If there were one theme to my relationship with Elite, it would be this--execution. The other architects talked vaguely of being able to get the pool done in 15 months or so. I told David I wanted to be swimming in thee months. He said I was crazy. I asked him if he could get it done. He said yes. Three months later, on the 4th of July weekend, my family was swimming.
That's what's truly special about David and the Elite team--they can get the job done, on time, and on budget. Moreover, while I was forced to manage my house contractors daily, I didn't have to even think about Elite. They transformed our property in exactly the right way, and I didn't have to manage a thing. That has rarely happened to me before, and it was fantastic.
Shortly after the completion of the pool and spa, I engaged Elite on another large scale project on the property. Just like the pool and spa, it was also done perfectly and perfectly on time and on budget. Elite (and in particularly, Mitch, David's son) continues to service our property and I suspect we'll build something great again in the future. I can't recommend the Elite team highly enough. If you want to do something great, they are your team.”

“We worked with Nick to construct our gunite pool in October of 2013 and we couldn't be happier with the final product. We spoke to many pool companies in Fairfield county, but in the end it was his keen eye for design and extensive experience in the pool industry that really helped solidify our decision. He had our best interests at heart the entire time we worked with him across every detail, from the exact color of plaster we wanted down to the best and most practical material to use for our patio (that wouldn't be too hot on our young kids' feet.) He's an honest guy who was never trying to sell us the most expensive product…he actually steered us away from the original patio material we thought we wanted (that was much more expensive) and we're so happy he did. We had a perfect summer enjoying our pool and spa.
This past month, we even had him back with his crew to install a drainage system in our yard. It was a pretty extensive project that they made look very easy. They completed it quickly without any hiccups.
After the experiences we have had with Nick, we would highly recommend using in2blue design on your pool project.”

They did a phenomenal job with it all and made it like a resort, which we used and loved hosting pool parties at! They were trustworthy in performing and doing what they promised and everything turned out wonderful!
They also did our pool maintenance and opened and closed our pool every April in time for the kids to use it during spring break and in November after the snow started falling. Go with A-1 because they know what they are doing and are wonderful to work with.”

“Jim Dobson runs an awesome, hard working, amazingly fast and professional crew. The pool was installed in a very short period of time (less than 10 days).
The entire crew was respectful, all gentlemen, especially important for a single woman acting as her own GC and construction manager.
It's an 18x42, 33,000 gallon in ground salt water gunnite pool, finished in medium gray and capped with thermal bluestone, as well as bluestone tile inside capping the gunnite.
Dobson's prices are MUCH lower than others in the area, he's been doing pools for about 40 years, however quality and craftsmanship were not compromised. These guys know pools.
I chose to spend a bit extra and have the pool filled with spring water from a capped mountain spring the area since I didn't want tap/chlorine/flouride. I also own a Himalayan salt company, so used 800 lbs of pink fine grain to get the pool set up - it's been a therapeutic necessity, given that my construction project has gone on for 9 months!!
Dobson was very helpful in educating me on the salt water pool equipment, etc, and since this is my first pool and I've put a lot into it, it was important for me to be educated on the proper way to care for the gunnite, keeping the water pristine etc.
