“We took a number of bids from other stair companies and Pike Stair was the only company who said they could do the work we wanted the way we wanted it. Other stair companies "insisted" what we wanted could not be done. In addition, Pike was not the most expensive, and because they said they could do "the impossible", I did have concerns and told the owner about them. He assured me it was going to be done. Once construction began it was discovered my house was not built to code 35 years ago and this caused some problems with installation. In my head I thought, "I knew there were going to be overruns." However, the owner and I discussed the issues and the lack of code was a surprise to him as well as I. We came to a very reasonable agreement on how much extra it was going to cost. I watched on a number of days the work ethic of both Eric Pike and Hanno. I was truly amazed at how hard they worked on such a hard project. Their personal dignity is truly part of the work they do. Doing poor work humiliates them and so they will never allow that to happen even if the "poor work" is in the "eye of the homeowner." I would hire them again and again and attempted to do so, but ran out of money on other improvement projects. When I have the money again I won't even call around as Pike was the only one who wanted to get me what I wanted the way I wanted it. BTW, the stairs came out beautiful. I could not have been more satisfied. In other words they did the impossible for a good price and would not leave a concern unanswered and fixed.”

“I got lucky and found these guys online when I was looking for someone to reface my fireplace wall. I did Venetian plaster on the fireplace wall and micro cement on the hearth. Their work product was so good that I ended up doing micro cement on my powder room walls, which was not something I had planned for. I decided to go with Murano for these reasons: 1. Responsiveness/communication: I initially contacted them at 11pm to inquire and they got back to me right away. I had measurements in hand already so they gave me a quote within an hour. Throughout the job until they were done, they were very responsive over phone, text, and in person. They communicated with me very well and went above and beyond to deliver the best results in the shortest amount of time. When the job was done, they made sure I was satisfied. 2. Work product: I was a bit hesitant to find out that they were new to the US. However, talking to them eased my concern because it was clear that they have years of experience outside the country. Their final work product showed their experience and skill. Pictures I took didn’t do much justice but their work was impeccable. Not only that, I had people telling me it would take 5 days to do the fireplace but it took these guys 2 days to complete it because they worked from 7am to 6pm all day. 3. Value: I compared their price against 5 other Venetian Plasters and their price was most competitive. As someone who has done a lot of work in our home, I know how challenging it is to find good people who provide solid work at a reasonable price. Because I feel lucky to have found these guys, I hope other people can benefit from their work too.”

“I hired Dave Acevedo Concrete Contractor for a job very few contractors can do. I have an above ground reservoir converted into a pool and needed someone to build a cantilever concrete deck a top of this reservoir. Not only was this a difficult job, but could have turned out very costly and unsatisfactory if done by a less talented contractor. After Dave assured me he can do this job, I'm so glad I went with him! His attention to detail and uncompromising in cutting corners made the deck come out absolutely beautiful. The edge on the cantilever is straight as an arrow with no waves, and the custom thickness of the deck came out perfect!
