ā€œI hired Luxe Showroom Ltd. for two sequential projects: a kitchen remodel and bathroom renovation. I can't say enough about how accomodating they were during both projects. If there was a need for a change or modification they made it happen. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen renovation included replacement of all cabinetry, granite countertops, sink, backsplash, and some appliances and electrical work. They came up with a way to creatively re-use some of the existing cabinets and counters as a craft/work bench in the basement, which required some challenging carpentry work. The bathroom renovation was a complete rip out and reinstall. The designer and craftsmen worked with my 16 year old daughter to come up with a modern yet functional design, with totally custom tilework and innovative lighting. They were totally flexible in allowing us to do as much or as little of the sourcing and work as we wanted. Any minor glitches were dealt with promptly and effectively and without controversy.Budget estimates were met, and adjusted fairly if changes were significant. Overall, I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for professional, reliable and creative design and construction services.ā€

ā€œDuring the bidding process, I was a bit put off by their name.....Luxury.....it sounded expensive to me....but their bid turned out to be very competitive for the scope of work. I am very pleased with my project. The tile team, Johnny and Nelu, were especially impressive. The entire remodel team was friendly, customer oriented, and professional. Sam was also very accommodating. Jerzy made the bidding and materials selection process painless. The project was completed on the schedule they laid out at the beginning, and it was great to be able to follow the details of my job's schedule, financial, procurement, change orders, etc. on their website. They handled the inevitable snags in a job this size quickly and efficiently. I hope to do my other bathroom with them next spring.ā€

ā€œWe hired Scott Gormley of Acumen Builders to be our general contractor for an extensive kitchen remodel. Our project involved a large amount of demolition and included removing a load-bearing wall, raising the ceiling height, and relocating a substantial portion of the HVAC and electrical components from below the joists to the roof (a flat roof). Before we even formally hired Scott, he made several visits to our residence to assist in the planning phase--even going to a nearby open house to see what we liked and disliked about a remodel that mirrored our floor plan. Throughout our project, Scott listened to our concerns, was knowledgeable, dependable, and used highly qualified subcontractors; he promptly paid the other trades immediately after receiving his own progress payments. The project turned out great, as you can see in the photos of "Lola's Timeless Kitchen"! We do not hesitate in recommending Scott Gormley and Acumen Builders for any of your building needs!ā€

ā€œSherlock Homes and other builders originally reached out to me after I purchased my property. The difference was that Sherlock Homes took the time to ask what I expected for the project when I returned correspondence and spent a good quantity of time with me asking questions on the first initial phone call. When I met the Sherlock Homes team at the property, I discovered they had already been there long before the scheduled meeting time to assess project needs and temporarily stake out the property (based upon questions they had asked in prior meetings) so my wife and I could get a better mental picture of the project. That act alone really impressed my wife that Sherlock Homes took the opportunity to show what they could do for us and advise us of any possible issues. In short, they did their homework before our meeting. In every meeting, Miechelle and or Jason took the time to explain the process and thoroughly answer questions at each meeting. They even took us on a tour to a near completed site so that my wife and I could get a better understanding of products used and to see the quality of the workmanship. I would be proud to recommend Sherlock Custom Homes to any person considering a building project.ā€

ā€œI was contacted by Jon Clark @ Maple Avenue Construction to bid on our kitchen cabinet remodel. We were working under a very tight budget and a very tight timeline as our old home was already sold and we needed to be out of the old home by close of escrow. The remodel was at demo stage when Jon and I first discussed my needs so a lot needed to happen very quickly. Jon and I worked together on the layout and design I desired and through collaboration and recommendations achieved the kitchen of my dreams. When it was time to install our kitchen, Jon made sure the cabinets were on time and perfectly installed. All of the design ideas, sizes and styles were correct and fit just as planned. Once the cabinets were in Jon worked with me to make sure the countertops to be decided set off the kitchen beautifully. I was not crazy about driving from the west side of town to Tempe; however, Jon assured me I would be happier if I made the drive to select my own countertop and slabs. He was absolutely correct! It was eye-opening when I realized the number of options available. Jon was patient and available to answer any questions I had regarding the cabinets and countertops, process for each and any monetary questions. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Maple Avenue Construction if you are seeking a partner for your remodel.ā€

ā€œAustin was absolutely amazing to work with! We had an issue with our water pressure reducing valve that caused all our pipes to hum along with a leaky shower head faucet. He got us in the schedule quickly and finished all the work within a day! No more humming walls and leaky shower- woohoo! Heā€™s extremely detailed in his work and very professional.
