“We visited Satco today at their booth at the Strategies in Light / LED Show and they're nice folks who are super knowledgeable about their products. We purchase them locally at Coast Lighting (which also has an online store). We've installed their Blink fixtures in closets and pantries - but they can go nearly anywhere. Only downside is that it is hard to find their Blink line on their website - but you can find it at lighting retailers. Check them out!”

“If I could give them more stars I would. Super high quality finishes and look. But the most important thing to me is how much they stand behind their products. I had a switch blow out ( I am not sure why) without any hesitation they sent me a replacement Touch switch. These switches aren’t cheap by any means but in this case you defienately get what you pay for.”

“Lighting designer used for my whole house rehab after the Hurricane Sandy. Can't wait for the completion, but truly happy with the service and the options offered. Lighting design seemed like a luxury, but I cant imagine not having i done properly now that I have seen the difference. I have a kitchen that I use often and heavily and it is on a dark side of the house, but it is also visable from the street and the center of the happenings when we entertain, so I need it to be able to go from bright and utilitatrian to romantic, or festive. The options I was given by Gary Novasel did all that. I will report back when the whole job is finished, but everything I am seeing now makes me very happy.”

“This lighting and design store has a huge inventory of products. I purchased 3 kitchen pendant lights and a dining room chandilier. My order came in earlier than expected which was great! . After my pendant lights were hung, i realized they didn't provide enough light. I called the store and asked explained I loved the lights but I didn't realized they were low voltage. I asked if I could purchase a different cylinder or lightbulb? The owner himself told me to return them and pick something that suited my needs better. I offered to pay the restocking fee and chose brighter pendants. This is unheard of! superior customer service at its best. I am excited to hang my new pendants when they arrive. My chandilier is beautiful. I also our chased a bathroom vanity and mirror from their other store, Lite Plus, located in Nanuet, NY. Huge array of lightening, bathroom vanities, and much more.”

Charles deSapio's keen sense of the finest quality in design has long been a breath of fresh air in the Hamptons for both retail customers and designers. Country Gear Ltd., in the heart of Bridgehampton, is also is the local representative of our own Woodard Weave Woven Rugs. Noreen, the Manager, provides wonderful assistance and helpful advice, and makes shopping a pleasurable and exciting experience. One gets the feeling that everything in this fascinating gallery has been personally chosen by Charles and his team, all of whom are dedicated to offering the very best and most interesting home furnishings to be found.”

“I have been working with Barbara, Perry and Stephanie for years now, and they are experts in the lighting industry! They are extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond normal expectations to satisfy our Clients. They are up to date with the latest fixtures, for example we recently selected a "fandelier" (a ceiling fan without blades!) with them and our Client is thrilled. Budget is usually a consideration, and not a problem for Perry and Barbara. We like to support local businesses whenever possible, and that is easy to do with the staff at Sound Lighting and Design.”

“My husband and I recently remodeled our home over the span of the last six months. During our remodel I've had the great pleasure of working with your employee Wendy Brady, whom I met this past July 2013. Upon entering your Blackman location in Bohemia, New York, she so graciously greeted us with her courteous manner and positive uplifting smile. In our initial search for bathroom tile and plumbing fixtures, she very gallantly yet professionally walked us through your showroom listening to our likes, dislikes and our every single concern. It literally felt like Wendy was reading our minds and directed us to exactly what we needed and wanted. I can honestly say I've never experienced anything like it “EVER”! Not only was she insightful she was also very efficient with our time while delivering only excellence in customer service. Her expertise and knowledge of your products only brought me back to the store time, time and time again!!
