“Our home interior had not been touched in 10 years. Pierre was recommended to us and we are most thankful to have had his help. He is a classy guy and his perspective of color choices to each room was pitch perfect. We are thrilled with the look and feel of each room. Kim and I feel he has elevated our entire home. He was also cost conscious about our selections, so every choice was first class but not over the top, price wise. Would highly recommend him for any residential interior or exterior project. Feel free to contact me for additional discussion about Pierre, am happy to do so.”

“"Working with Ella Scott Design was an exceptional experience from start to finish. My newly built luxury townhome, once just an empty landscape has been transformed into a cohesive, elegant, and incredibly functional oasis that truly reflects my lifestyle. From the initial consultation Sandra and her team demonstrated a remarkable ability to listen and lead, quickly grasping my vision and translating it into stunning design concepts. Their expertise in high-end finishes, unique materials, and custom elements is evident in every room. The level of detail is astounding; the way they balanced bold statements with subtle textures such as wallpaper which I never thought I’d love and thoughtful touches has created a home that feels both luxurious and deeply personal. I was particularly impressed by their seamless coordination with contractors, managing the entire process, from sourcing unique furnishings to handling complex installations—with incredible professionalism and minimal stress on my part. The final reveal was breathtaking!! Every corner, fixture, and fabric choice contributes to a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. I have receive endless compliments and am grateful to have found a designer who delivered not just a beautiful home, but an environment where i genuinely love to live and entertain. I wholeheartedly recommend Ella Scott Design, llc for any luxury project!"”

“My family and I recently completed a significant renovation of our Capitol Hill row house, and we are thrilled with the results achieved by the interior design team at Storie Collective led by Sara Swabb. Before we began the project, we knew we needed a professional to ensure the project was cohesive and done right the first time. After a good deal of research of local design professionals, we engaged Storie Collective for an in-home consultation. We were immediately confident that Sara and her team had the experience and vision to help us create something special — we were right! As a middle-class family with limited means, we were initially concerned that we couldn’t afford Storie Collective; however, Sara was able to bring in vendors, trades, and contractors with a range of price points that made our budget work. I am absolutely convinced that we saved money because the front-end design process was so precise and methodical, which ultimately helped us avoid costly oversights and missed opportunities. Sara’s “no job too great or too small” approach was comforting, and following completion of our kitchen, primary bath, and powder room renovation, we asked Storie Collective to return to redesign and refresh our living room. The living room has been transformed from a bland box into an inviting, dark green lounge worthy of countless conversations (and cocktails!) between family and friends. The coffered ceiling Sara designed has completely changed the feel of the living room, and the lighting choices help pull it all together to make the room entirely purposeful. Having lived in our renovated home now for a few months, my wife and I remain grateful to Sara and her team for creating something enduringly beautiful. We can’t wait until our next project with Storie Collective!”
