“Working with Jeff brought my outdoor space to life in a way I couldn’t have imagined. Jeff brought inquiry, expertise, imagination, and patience to his design work and together we discovered the most important aspects of how I wanted my outdoor space to look, feel, and function. These same traits carried over as he spent 6 weeks on my space, doing everything from sculpting raised beds and procuring and laying large boulders, to building a fire pit, to helping me choose plants and then planting them. Jeff is a professional in every sense of the word but it’s his kind heart that made him a person I looked forward to seeing every day during our project.”

“If you are looking for a unique water feature, Backyard Getaway is the answer. Their themed water designs are one of a kind and built with attention to detail. In addition, the owners are generous to the extreme, volunteering their time and expertise to schools and non-profits. We worked on a contest spearheaded by Backyard Getaway to give away a complete backyard makeover, including a custom pond, outdoor fireplace, pergola, hydroponic system and small storage shed. Definitely the type of people you'd want to work with!”

Troy is knowledgeable and passionate about Florida native plants and how to incorporate them into your landscape! Always punctual, professional, immaculate clean up work. Worth every penny!”

“Turned our boring grassy front yard into a low maintenance low water use oasis. Told Dennis I was looking to cut down our sprinklers to make it more efficient and better for the hot Florida weather. He used a variety of succulents, cactus, agave, and tropical plants to bring my ideas to life. Can’t stress enough how great this turned out. A real show stopper.”

“Our landscape project included new beds and plantings, new trees, paver paths, a water feature, lighting, irrigation, and new fencing. Earthscapes executed in a skilled, professional manner in all aspects with quality service and goods. It was a pleasure to work with their talented landscape designer, Kelby, who listened to our wish list and delivered our dreams with his creativity and knowledge of plants and design. We are part-time Florida residents so we needed a fairly self-sustaining landscape design. Kelby installed a watering system for the patio potted plants that is connected to the irrigation system-- it works beautifully. From the outset we were delighted with the aesthetics of his design and plant selections. However, these past few weeks of torrential rains have proven that he also successfully addressed significant water retention and drainage issues that we had previously experienced. When several plants needed replacement, Earthscapes followed through on their guarantee. I recommend Earthscapes without reservation.”

“Wonderful to work with start to finish. Great communication, design, and execution of job. There were some plants and flowers that were not available but they helped me find something comparable and made sure I knew basics about maintenance and lifespan of the plants.”
