“The spec, the installation and any snagging were professionally competed to our timescales - we now have a wifi enabled house house with cat 6 and coax cables in every room.
From our central IT HUB, we have sonos powering the ceiling speakers in 4 rooms, sky HD TV in 4 rooms (we did not go for sky multi room so can watch many different freeview channels but only 1 sky channel in each of the 4 rooms at the same time) with also the option to watch a dvd or Apple tv in those 4 rooms. Use bluecube speakers - they are excellent and highly recommended.
Renovations are the ideal time to do this sort of project and I could not recommend Steve highly enough, met him at the grand designs show in London.”

“5 bedroom detached house at the end of a gated cul- de- sac.
I wanted to retro fit my property with some Smart Home Technology without having to tear down walls and redecorate the whole place. The property was bought with some cabling installed with the prospect of buying a bolt on option from the developer, but this did not appear to be the right fit for me.
I was unhappy with the lack of lighting control as I was unable to control the whole room from the existing switches. The heating control didn’t give me enough flexibility to manage different parts of the house and the alarm system lacked coverage and had outdated controls.
Nicolai was recommended to me through a friend that had already used his services. He understood my concerns and offered solutions and options that would work specifically for me. He managed the process professionally and kept me informed throughout the whole integration. His costs were much more realistic and were broken down to offer me alternative options.
I now have a much more flexible lighting control system so I do not have to go from one end of the room to the other to control different lights.
They can all be controlled from my phone or iPad which sits in a wall in a docking station. It also gave me the opportunity to create even more mood lighting.
Additionally, my garage door and front gate have been integrated and I can also control them from the iPad.
I have much better AV control which I benefit from every day. I have an HDMI matrix with 2 Sky boxes, amplifiers, multiple TVs and a whole house sound system. It is seamless and easy to control from one single device.
I also have a robust network infrastructure, which Nicolai highly recommended. This offers me whole house Wi-Fi coverage. An inefficient router from my broadband provider was replaced by a number of access points and now I have one big well working network that I don't have to think about any more.
I had to give up my coat cupboard in order to house the server but It is out of the way and something that I don’t need to think about.
All in all an excellent service was provided.”
