“I recently purchased a Solas One6 Fireplace for one of my apartments. It's just the right size for this apartment and provides an aesthetic value in addition to the warmth of a fireplace!
Initially, I received an old version of the surround which did not fit onto the fireplace correctly. They were very helpful and they sent out a rep who replaced the part with the new version and now everything fits fine.
Also, when I purchased it, I was under the impression that it required the same small direct vent as that of a Renni or Monitor heater (which would have been very convenient because that was what I was replacing), however it requires a larger pipe so we had to do some retrofitting. Overall, I am happy with the product and will probably buy another one for another apartment, as well as recommend Solas to others.”

“My wife, Elaine and I want to thank you for the excellent sales and customer service and price that you gave us when purchasing our Fireplace Xtrordinair Gas Fireplace insert with Metropolitan Face Design and Ember-Fyre Log Set. It looks great and works very efficiently. However, we will feel the full impact of it when the heating season starts again and we turn on the gas fireplace insert to generate some warmth and heat. In additional, Elaine and I want to thank you for coming to our home and measuring the fireplace opening to make sure the gas fireplace insert would fit in correctly.
John Templeton, the plumbing contractor, did an excellent job installing the gas fireplace insert. In addition, he coordinated very well the installation of the chimney linings by Steve Briquette. Steve did an excellent job as well. Also, John Templeton coordinated very well the inspection by the Chelmsford Town Plumbing inspector of the piping for the gas fireplace insert. John was a pleasure to deal with and he provided excellent customer service to us by explaining the whole installation process and giving Elaine and I a demonstration at the end of how the gas fireplace insert.
Elaine and I would not hesitate to recommend Chelmsford Fireplace Center and you in particular to our friends, relatives and neighbors if they wanted to purchase a gas fireplace insert. Thanks again.”

“Totally positive experience. When they arrived at our home the neatness and cleanliness of their truck, equipment and personal dress reassured us that these were individuals who took pride in their work and their appearance. Impressive start!
First off, the install team was on time to the minute. Second, they were respectful and careful, placing clean work tarps and blankets throughout the work area. Third they were efficient, e.g. had all their parts, tools and materials on hand. Once they started they didn't finish until the job was done. Fourth, they did exactly what they promised. The sales person had told us it was about a 3 hour job, and our install team made it happen. Fifth, the unit was installed with no issues, they showed us how to operate it, how to install the safety screens etc. Lastly, they left the work space immaculately clean.
Highly recommended!”
