“I have a 1924 Tudor with a rather large fireplace that was in dire need of repair, including rebuilding the firebox, lining the flue, installing a spark arrestor, and laying new tile on the hearth. Because the house is in the process of being historically designated, I needed someone I could completely trust. Paul did an OUTSTANDING job. He worked fast and efficiently, and when we ran into challenges (like finding a spark arrestor that was period-appropriate), Paul came up with the perfect solution. The new hearth tile was handmade and costly so I was concerned about breakage, but not a single tile was damaged. The fireplace is beautiful and the hearth is stunning. In fact the biggest compliment is when people think the hearth is original. He took great care to protect the hardwood floors, furniture and walls, and the living room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived! Since it's repair, the fireplace has been a great source of joy, and I can't thank Paul enough. He has my highest recommendation.”

“AMS Fireplace provided us with three sets of beautiful handcrafted, custom, Iron fireplace doors. The customer service provided was exemplary, with responsive emails and when desired by phone. We were kept fully informed during the construction and shipping. The doors quality and craftsmanship is clear, the fit excellent. I installed the doors myself and worked very closely on the doors and inspected them thoroughly without any issues. These are truly old world, hand crafted quality and appearance. Now that they are installed we are enjoying the doors and having fires, they are beautiful and give a finished and classy look to the rooms. I have no hesitation in recommending AMS to anyone looking for a quality custom product.”

“Our house came with a pre-installed linear gas fireplace with no surround. For two years, I tried to convince myself that it was modern and that I would get used to it, but I never did. All the while, I had Studio Design Works' Malibu fireplace photo pinned to my inspiration board. I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago and called for a consultation.... BEST DECISION EVER! Wayne, the owner, responded quickly and came to discuss color and sizing options. Within days, he sent a CAD rendering along with the proposal for a custom mantel, surround, and hearth. Three weeks after accepting the estimate, Arturo and another installer arrived. They were incredibly careful and detail oriented, protecting our floors with paper and drop cloths. The amount of time Arturo spent getting every surface straight and level was heroic. The outcome was absolute perfection. My only regret...not calling Wayne two years earlier!!”

“Mantel Depot installed my stone mantel a few months ago. They provide great product and service. The mantel is beautiful, and the installation is perfect. Their price is a little lower compared to other fireplace manufactures in San Diego. I would recommend Mantel Depot to anyone.”

They do phenomenal work and have made our projects stand out! We love all of the possibilties that are available to us when designing for our clients. Kyle and his team have made some of the most beautiful concrete pieces for us ranging from, fireplace surrounds, countertops with integrated sinks, to outdoor furniture. They have the ability to customize almost anything you want made from concrete ranging from color to size to feel! We love integrating the use of concrete anytime we can from HCD! In addition, they offered the most competitive pricing as well as inspection/installation services to help ensure that the product was installed and functioned safely and properly. They followed the project every step along the way to ensure we were completely satisfied...that was extremely impressive as many vendors we have worked with simply made their product sale and moved on, They are the best!”

“Studio Design Works is awesome. As far as customer service goes, Haley was unbelievable to work with. VERY professional, very responsive, sweet and gave excellent customer service. Top of the line! We dealt with many different vendors/subs during our construction and she is at the top of the list! As far as product quality, excellent construction, lots of style and material choices, on time production, great price. Overall A+ on both quality and service. I would highly recommend Studio Design Works to anyone!”

“We had custom copper shrouds designed and installed. It really compliments our home. The first job went very smoothly and the pricing was more than fair so we had another 3 shrouds added to our winter home. I am satisfied with the quality and they have a huge selection. I would use American Chimney Shroud in the future. I am glad we can support a company based in the United States. I found this company through our contractor who uses them often. We would recommend them. Our neighbors ended up going with shrouds from here too since ours looked so good.”
