“Gas Works has installed a corner unit gas fireplace in our finished basement which worked perfectly for our room. Some specific considerations had to be made during the installation and they were able to perform the needed task. The unit is great and performs perfectly for our room. We also used them for our yearly safety checks on this unit as well as one in our living room. Great piece of mind to know that the unit works efficiently and safely. We also purchased a gas grill which was installed with a direct gas line. Perfect compliment for all our grilling needs!”

The owners Bill and Cindy will leave you feeling as warm and cozy as the fireplace the put in your home. Frank in the showroom has a wealth of knowledge and is very passionate about his work. Their installation crews do a very good job as well. I have worked with them personally on several projects and highly recommend this business. Stop in and see their beautiful Showroom! “All of my experience with Salters has been exceptionally good. In Nov., 2012 I ordered a propane gas fireplace insert for my home. First person who came to my home to confirm the measurements, recommended a custom frame (at a very modest increase in cost) so that less of the marble on my fireplace would be hidden. Second, the store rearranged their installation schedule so that my insert was installed the day before my early December holiday party. The insert looked great!! Lastly, when a manufacturing defect was discovered with the model which I had purchased, the Salter service team tried to arrive in a timely manner to get my insert working again, worked with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problem, and went out of their way to keep me appraised of the progress. I would definitely recommend Salters to everyone.”

“Newtown Fireplace (NFP). does a great job.....very professional.....1st class installation..... and all the people I've interacted with have been wonderful to deal with. I had a fireplace installed several months ago. Just recently I started to hear a noise in the chimney......they came right back out and fixed it. So many vendors disapperar after they receive final payment .......this is not the case with NFP. It's comforting to know that if a I ever have a problem, they are there for me.”

“We purchased a Jotul stove last October for our sunroom. We received the best service, care and installation. We were unsure of what type of stove we needed, but after several visits and great information received from Rettingers, we made a perfect choice that works for us. Every one of Rettingers staff are awesome! (Especially Angelique!) We recently had our routine service appointment and were very satisfied.”

“We contracted with Chimneys R Us to replace an existing vent-free gas fireplace with a high efficiency wood burning unit. We could not be more pleased. They were extremely helpful with suggestions, and very flexible and accommodating as we finalized our choices in stone, mantle, etc. Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous, and the work was done on time and to very high quality. We would definitely recommend.”

“The showroom is set up to show you what can go wrong with certain types of fireplace design. Very educational. We ordered our fireplace around the holidays so there was a delay, but the company was clear and honest about what to expect. (Tip: don't wait until November!) Overall I think prices were good compared to other places that we went to. Our unit was pretty basic, but these guys do a lot of high end projects too. The installation went well and was professional. My only concern which could make this a 4.5 star is that there was a gap on the right side of the unit where the unit met the floor (which is normal with the way houses settle), but they told us that we could fix that by adding caulking, and I felt that that should have been part of the installation process for a "completed" look. Perhaps they did not offer because the unit is unfinished oak, and we planned on staining the wood? Either way, very happy with overall purchase. The fireplace is the my favorite purchase of 2016.”
