Architecture is the reflection of people within our built environment. It responds to our functional requirements and personal aspirations. Equally so, it is a reflection of our environment in which we live. Architecture has a responsibility to the community to ensure that both the people and the environment are represented with transparency.
Our integrated design approach encompasses architecture, interior design and master planning. We create well-crafted, innovative buildings that are stylish, sought-after places to live, work and play. Our work takes inspiration from contemporary culture and celebrates space, light and structural order. Our practical approach and strong industry relationships achieve maximum value for our clients through high-quality marketable developments. Principal and founder, Shane Plazibat, has over 25 years’ experience designing major civic, hospitality and recreation projects in Hong Kong, London and Australia. Together with his comprehensive understanding of urban design and masterplanning, he brings his knowledge of residential styling to large multi-residential developments to maximise their market appeal and meet the commercial needs of our developer clients. Shane’s projects have been consistently awarded by the Australian Institute of Architects, the Master Builders Association and the Australian Institute of Building.

Our purpose is simple: we create unique dwellings that provide exceptional spaces and lifestyle experiences, designed to provide safety in the increasingly extreme environmental conditions that climate change is bringing upon us. Our journey begins with a unique brief-creation methodology developed by us, in which we uncover your true expectations, aspirations and values. Then we do our magic: using the best available technology, passive design principles, ecologically inclusive thinking and our inherently subversive attitude we generate outcomes of unprecedented refinement. In our designs, purpose, economics, physics and aesthetics augment each other. We work with a small team of industry leaders who believe in this idea and are devoted to delivering its promise. By limiting our work to one single project at a time, we can focus our full creative energy and resources to fulfilling our promise to you. Originally from North Queensland, Chloe moved to Brisbane to study architecture at Queensland University of Technology. Upon graduating, Chloe designed a house in Bowen for her parents to retire in – Inverdon House. Taking advantage of the incredible learning opportunity that would come from overseeing the build of her first project, Chloe moved back to North Queensland during construction. Committed to climate-responsive architecture, this project became a testing ground for her to develop her ideas about architecture in the dry tropical context, aligning the design of Inverdon House with the skills and expertise of local trade. Chloe now lives in Brisbane and works with local practice m3architecture where she is engaging with architecture on a much larger scale and in a variety of contexts and was a speaker at the 2017 Asia Pacific Architecture Forum in Brisbane. - Australian Institute of Architects – Central Qld House of the Year, 2017 - Australian Institute of Architects - Qld State Award for Residential Architecture - Houses (new) 2017 - Australian Interior Design Awards – Best of State Residential Design, Qld, 2017. - HOUSES Awards Finalist - New House Over 200m2, 2017 - HOUSES Awards Finalist – Sustainability, 2017 - ThinkBrick Awards Finalist – Kevin Borland Masonry Award, 2017 - World Architecture Festival Finalist – House – Completed Buildings, 2017 (Announced November 17)
