Yorgos Efthymiadis is an Architectural and Fine Art photographer from Greece who resides in Somerville, MA. He has always been drawn to buildings, their shapes, their forms and materials, always questioning the perspective and viewpoints. Using light to illuminate their unique character, he often wonders how architects imagined their constructions and frequently reduces architecture to pure geometry. Finally, he loves modernism and travels around the country to photograph many of the iconic houses of this era, including the Farnsworth House in Plano (IL) and the Gropius House in Lincoln (MA). Yorgos was great to work with - fun, professional, and very efficient. We had very limited time to get a particular shoot done [as in, a window of only a few hours between when the contractor finished and when the owner was moving in], and Yorgos got the shoot done in that time, with time to spare! The images turned out beautifully - we always get compliments on them - and I'm looking forward to working together with him on future projects.

I'm an interior designer that hired Yorgos to photograph my new home on the south shore. He is very professional, easy to work with and open to ideas. On site he helped me with staging, he has great taste and an eye for detail, I really valued his design option. I was thrilled with the way the images came out, Yorgos captured the essence of our costal home and the cape code style architecture. I will be referring him to other trade professionals and I can't wait to work with him on my next project!

Yorgos did an amazing job capturing my house! He was full of ideas and was fun to work with. Even my dogs and cats were posing like pros for him! He has an extremely turnaround time in delivering the final product and provided me a wide range of photos to chose from. I highly recommend Yorgos for your photography projects.

The photographs of Yorgos Efthymiadis matched perfectly my demand for architectural photography: precise, spatially sensitive, naturally lit, without adornment. He understood the intention of the project and photographed it beautifully. Our exchange was also highly efficient, from inital contact to photo shoot to post-production and final delivery. I hope to work with Yorgos again.

Yorgos was a joy to work with. He's lovely; he is very professional and has a great sense of humor. You can see the project we worked on together: Morgan House. I was particularly impressed with his use of light and staging. He did a terrific job using only natural light; proof that he really knows his craft. And he is terrific with staging. He captured the essence of each room, sometimes moving it around entirely. But let him do his work, you'll be very pleased with the results.
