It has honestly been an absolute dream to work with Yelena and her team at House of Style and Design. Having never worked with a design team before, my wife and I were unsure what to expect, but Yelena and her team walked us through the process every step of the way. It was a very organized and well thought-out process from initial discussions on expectations, to surveying/measuring our home, 3-D model re-creations of our spaces with a variety of proposals carefully laid out for us to discuss, to finally the installation process and reveal. Aside from their encyclopedic knowledge of patterns, textures, and eye for composition, their attitude and enthusiasm for the project was what truly stood out. There was a joy in what they were doing it and it is reflected in the final product, which, I must say, exceeded our wildest expectations - like a page out of Architectural Digest. I cannot bestow enough praise onto this team and I will most certainly be using them again for additional sections of my home.

Yelena and her Team are true artists and masters of their craft. We had a new construction home built and when Yelena came out for the first time the interior studs were already in. I WISH I had met her at the blueprint stage of the build. She had so many ideas, knows what a proper home layout and flow should look like and really took the time to understand what our expectations were. When we purchased our newly constructed home in New Jersey, we knew we were going to need someone to decorate, as we live on the West Coast. I was a bit apprehensive finding someone online, as we are pretty meticulous and wanted the home to really represent our taste. I’m so glad I found Yelena and House Of Style & Design! From beginning to end, it was an amazing experience. Extremely organized with slides and pictures to keep us updated during the entire process. I especially loved how Yelena would present me with a choice of three room layouts, furniture etc. Choosing furniture and design for an entire home can be overwhelming and she took all the anxiety out of it for me. She shipped me an entire box of fabric and drapery choices so I could actually see and feel my selections. Constant communication was so important and Yelena did a fantastic job with that. She organized a contractor to come in and do moldings, which she selected. It turned out fantastic. After a couple of weeks of sending her pictures of inspiration, she knew exactly what I wanted. She was really in tune to my taste. So much so that I actually let her pick all the accessories. When the big reveal came and we flew into New Jersey, I was so blown away! Yelena went above and beyond. She left an adorable welcome sign for us and books in the kids room for them to enjoy. These little touches let me know that this is not a job for her, it’s her passion and it shows. She takes great pride in her work.

It was such a pleasure to work with Yelena and her staff on my apartment. I found her through Instagram and after speaking with her had immediate confidence that she would execute a design that both met my expectations and did not break the bank. Building a new home is an exciting and intimidating task as there are a myriad of design decisions from countertops, door handles, tile and even tile grout. Yelena was able to recognize our taste and devise beautiful design selections. Once the home was constructed it exceeded our expectations thanks to Yelena’s decorative acumen. We then hired Yelena to decorate and furnish a significant portion of the house. Since we moved from a one bedroom apartment to a two story five bedroom home the scope of this assignment was significant. While the project was daunting, Yelena was able to present beautiful ideas and layout an elegant final project. Throughout the process she was extremely professional and such a joy to work with. She tirelessly sought to exceed our expectations. Yelena remains hands on throughout the whole process. The design and selections take time but installation is the execution of all the work invested throughout the process. While Yelena is a talented designer her attention to detail and hands on approach ensured a successful execution. We essentially left our house one day and came back to a beautifully designed home. It felt like we were in a TV show where our home had a story book remodeling. As mentioned earlier, Yelena is a must have for your interior design project. House of style & design is truly a dream team! We hired Yelena to design our apartment from A to Z. She designed everything in It from the lighting plan to the candles and picture frames we have. We combined 2 apartments, It was a new construction building. Yelena did 3d renderings of every room in our 4 bedroom 4.5 bath apartment. She was with me every step of the way at every show room, every appointment, every walk through! Her creativity is superb! Every room has something unique and special in It. Our window treatments are an artwork in themselves, each room is so special and nothing I’ve ever seen before in any other apartment. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I hired Yelena to consult with me on paint colors and wallpaper recommendations for an open floor plan condo. She provided great expertise on how the flow and contrast of color should work for our high Ceilinged space. Yelena was easy to work with and flexible since we didn't need full design services but wanted an experts opinion. Many other designers required that we pay per room while Yelena allowed us to pay for her time and use it for different aspects of the apartment. She also came to our old apartment to see our furniture and help us to determine what we could transition to our new space. I would definitely work with her again.

Yelena's work definitely makes a room into WOW ! We just finished my 3 year old daughters window treatments . She did a tufted cornice with crystals and a pink trim . Under the cornice she picked a gorgeous fabric panel in pink , pulled back u can see a contrast of another lighter pink and a girly trim going down to add even more detail ! It's just breath taking and my daughter feels like a real princess in her room ! I'm so happy thank you Yelena
