Woodharbor Custom Cabinetry

Highly recommend Woodharbor cabinetry. We have sold and installed countless kitchens and bathrooms over a ten year relationship with their company. We have had a wonderful experience over the course of many years. They are good people to work with, they stand behind their product, and are quick to fix any issues. They are always improving the product, and introducing new colors and designs to stay current. We love that they are manufactured right here in Iowa :) This company has stood the test of time for us and we look forward to many more years.

Hi All - current customer of Wood Harbor cabinets, wanted to share my experiences: - They are beautiful and well constructed, especially the finishes and weight of the wood However: - They made more than 30 ! mistakes in delivering the wrong sized cabinets for our kitchen, wrong cabinet style faces, doors that weren't built to design spec, utensil and spice racks that don't work with typical-sized utensils or spices, warped shelves, missing anchors for wire mesh, etc. It's truly amazing - our GC has never seen anything like it before in all their years in business. - Similar issues in the 2 bathrooms they supplied - paid the upcharge for pull out drawers under sink that are poorly designed to work with sink traps, cabinets drawers didn't fit on 2 drawers, etc - In working on corrections, which took 8-10 weeks in most cases, they then made additional mistakes - wrong door sizes (again), completely mismatched door styles, drawers (again) that do no fit. It could be that Covid-19 is affecting their operations, so I am a little sympathetic - but I would recommend you run not walk away from anyone who recommends purchasing Wood Harbor cabinets. They have been by far the most painful, least competent, and most expensive vendor we were sadly directed to use by our contractors on this year-long major remodel. They are adding weeks and months of painful rework to our project!

The cabinets are absolutely gorgeous. They clearly use a higher quality of wood (higher grade) than some of the other vendors I looked at. Having said that, I am not sure I would buy them again. After just a year, my impression is that the stained finish does not seem terribly durable or commensurate with the pricing. In addition, there are areas where the top coat seems to have bubbled and burst and I suspect that will lead to problems down the line. One and only one person has ever used this kitchen and I am fanatical about taking care around everything in my new kitchen and have never had anything I have done damage any cabinets in kitchens in prior homes. Nonetheless, there are a couple of scratches where nothing of note occurred. Having said that, the store I worked with has been AWESOME and the cabinets for now at least, are beautiful, just a little concerned that will not continue to be the case. For the price, would have expected more durability.

We had a few hiccups with Woodharbor but they ended up taking good care of us. There were a few cabinets showing wear and tear only a couple of years into owning. We eventually got a Woodharbor Sales Rep to come take a look and they took care of replacing. I would say overall they are quality cabinets and we appreciate Woodharbor doing the right thing.

Woodharbor Custom Cabinetry is a great company to work with. We are a custom cabinet shop ourselves and have very high standards when it comes to cabinetry. We prefer Woodharbor's cabinets over many other cabinet lines because of their many design options, sustainable practices, and extremely high quality of finish. Their customer service team is also great to work with and their semi drivers deliver the cabinets on-time and undamaged. Overall, Woodharbor is a fantastic company!

Would not recommend. Paint on cabinet doors started cracking after less than 3 years of use. Wood Harbor claims this is due to "normal wear and tear" and "water damage". So, I guess if you plan on using these cabinets anywhere near a sink, you can expect "normal wear and tear" to cause "water damage" and you will need to replace in 3 years or less!

And we have had many happy kitchen and bath vanity customers due to the many styles and color options. They are a very innovative and progressive company.
