Rob Waddell is the principal landscape designer at Waddell Landscapes and has produced an exciting portfolio of completed projects. He has experienced success at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, and worked as part of the ‘Better Homes and Gardens’ channel 7 program as well as channel 9’s “The Block”. Because we do both design and construction, you work directly with Rob without being handled to another company. The ‘Waddell Landscapes’ slogan, 'Style Precision Perfection', is Rob’s endeavour in all facets of his life, and these qualities are hallmarks of his work. Rob and his team recently completed our landscaping in Kew. The project was undertaken and completed in 3 weeks - on time and more importantly on budget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A completely hassle free and seamless project mainly due to Rob's hands on management of his team. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Waddell Landscapes in the future and would be more than happy to recommend Rob and his team to any design and landscape project.

We already had a landscape design for our tired back and front gardens, so Rob and his team were hired to co-ordinate the implementing of this, work to a time line and bring it in on budget all which they did so admirably. They were fun to have onsite and took pride in what they were building. Rob co-ordinated any extra subbies that needed to be involved. The end result is fabulous and makes us want to use the backyard again. Its now been 18 months and the garden looks as if it has always been there. Highly recommend.

When we started, we had bo idea what budget or type of landscape we wanted. Rob was really patient and professional in his role to provide us with guidance. The result is great and we love it. Even after the job was completed, if there was an issue or question Rob would help us. I think this is a great service.

We have used the excellent services of Waddell Landscapes for several years. They rebuilt our front garden to make it more manageable and then provided ongoing regular maintenance visits. Rob and his team are proactive and knowledgeable about all aspects of garden maintenance and planning. Over the years they have replanted some of our garden beds several times to change the look. We are happy to recommend Waddell Landscapes. Rob is organised, punctual and provided excellent services.

A pleasure to work with, in a true collaboration from start to finish, resulting in a gorgeous garden that delights us every time we look at it, and spend time in it. Rob Waddell was clear and up front about the timing and costs and continued this transparency throughout the whole project. His communication was impeccable, making himself available whenever we asked. During the build, the team kept the site clean, neat and tidy. They were friendly, respectful and extremely hard-working. I'd have no hesitation in hiring them again!

Rob, Tom, Jed and team have been wonderful in transforming our front garden to reflect the style and structure of our 1880 home. Not knowing much about Australian plant types Rob listened carefully to what I was looking for (nothing is ever too much to ask), creating design choices with multiple varietal choices but is polite at saying when things may not work. A perfect working relationship in my mind which has generated fantastic results! We’ve had several compliments and I couldn’t be happier. Since then Waddell Landscapes has been a constant from continuing to design and create thing like fruit and vegetable planter boxes to transform a dead area of our garden into a working wonderland for our two young kids to ongoing maintenance of our garden.
