James F. Tucker, AIA, Architect, is an experienced and energetic architectural firm with more than 35 years experience having done more than 650 projects. The architectural problems of today such as economical, green, and sustainable and nothing new to us. We designed our first passive solar residence way back in 1979. That project won a Northern Virginia AIA design award in 1990. Other sustainable residential designs have followed that lead. Everything involved with getting a building designed and built -is our interest. Interiors, finishes, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing designs are all done by JFT-AIA. Keeping the design of all building elements for both small commercial and all residential projects within the office, and not by consultants helps us ensure an efficient, economical and coordinated design process with the thoughtful integration of all building systems.
