Vidaco Interior Specialists

This was the worst experience from all the companies we used in our steadings conversion! After visiting Vidaco in Dunfermline, we had a good feeling they were right for us! It started well with a good design and good communications. Start date : September 2021 Ssdly! It was a disaster There work and communication was very poor and It started to become apparent that things were not right with this company by the way they handled our concerns! eventually my kitchen had come to a complete standstill after 7 months! We were moving into our renovation in November 2021 and hoped to have had a working kitchen which sadly was only half complete! We had to stay in our rental till December 23rd 2021. We eventually asked our own tradesmen from other companies working in the conversion to do work which we then invoiced Vidaco . We had to collect parts our self to repair the mess they made i.e.: screws through end panels , large glass tinted mirrors were squint and cracking {local company had to break off and replace } as they were the main feature! Wine rack not even secured and squint. Unit doors { several } out of line ! They used MDF as a end panel which looked awful in a £25,000 kitchen { I had to use our own decorator eventually as twice it was plastered then re-plastered and painted by the new manager which was a mess as he forgot to stir the paint and it was all patchy! After 15 months were are still trying to finish it ourselves! We do not want anyone else to go through this ordeal, hence the reason for this feedback! Vidaco you let us down causing immense distress throughout ! Shame on you!

Delightful company to deal with! I had a very strict budget to stick to and was ecstatic to find that my ideas were listened to and after suggestions and advice we created a brilliant kitchen I now enjoy showing off! My husband is a joiner and so he fitted our kitchen but there were no issues at all and when he had small questions he received help no problem at all.

Highly recommend! Recently had a kitchen and utility fitted and cannot praise the team enough. I was unsure exactly what I wanted and although I had some ideas in mind, I did ask our designer for her suggestions and must say I could not believe how different she transformed our area. From our design appointments which were relaxed and enjoyable right through to the removal of our existing kitchen and fitting of our new we were kept up to date with what was happening and when and in whole was completed a bit quicker than expected. So happy we made the right choice!

Awful experience. Very, very expensive, nice design installed wrongly, resulting in our chosen under mounted sink not fitting, we then selected a flush mounted sink which was installed below flush leaving an exposed sharp edge on the silestone worktop, the installers drilled through central heating pipes ( I used my insurance to fix) and drilled through cold water pipes, installed electrical sockets so close to the splash back that moulded plugs could not be fitted. Electrical sockets either side of the hob not symmetrical, decorator painting very average, (we repainted), flushing plaster cracked within weeks, very expensive luxury vinyl flooring lifting in multiple places. I was promised the flooring contractor would come back and rectify faults. Quick as a flash nothing. The sink unit was scorched during pipe soldering. The Project Manager stated it was my responsibility to supervise the installation. He now ignores my calls. Go elsewhere is my advice.

I have no hesitation in recommending Vidaco kitchens. The design of our kitchen was the most innovative from a number of suppliers we met with and we were delighted with the design that met our budget requirements. The customer service is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble be it obtaining quotes for appliances, tweaking designs, answering queries - we knew we were in safe hands. The kitchen itself was delivered exactly in time and everything in the order was intact and complete. We are delighted with the finished product and design - its practical and stunning at the same time!

Cannot recommend vidaco enough. Our designer Gary came up with a fantastic design for our kitchen and listened to our input. Design changes were no problem at all. During the install, we were in regular contact with Alan the installation manager who kept us updated and any small problem were easily sorted out. The whole installation team were very professional. Aftercare has been great with small snags dealt with quickly and without problem.

We chose this company following a shortlist of three companies. We selected them because they brought the best approach to design as opposed to fitting in kitchen units into a space. Gary was fantastic throughout and we valued his input. As with all projects things didn't always go to plan with the fitting of the kitchen, however Alan was always on hand to put things right. He went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions. We even had the Operations Manager, Graeme, onsite ensuring all went to plan. All in all a great kitchen by a professional team.

Very impressive work by this company at a recent mutual client working on transforming a kitchen/diningroom where we added the glass extension and they completed the kitchen area beautifully! Highly recommend!
