Jamie was born and bred in Canterbury and is a very proud one-eyed Cantabrian. He started his career installing floor coverings with his father then quickly moved into customer care by using his colour co-ordination skills to help clients select the right product for their homes. Ten years in Australia saw Jamie continue with floorcoverings but extend his expertise to include window coverings and outdoor awnings which, of course, were very popular in the Aussie climate. Upon returning to New Zealand Jamie initially continued in floor coverings but an opportunity to extend his repertoire into home furnishings with a large, reputable company in Christchurch gave Jamie the opportunity to utilise his wealth of colour co-ordination and product knowledge to assist customers to choose the right furniture for their homes.
