The Vara Design Team did a wonderful job updating our living room. The designers were extremely professional and creative. We are so pleased with our new built-ins, furniture, lighting, and accessories. The room is much more functional and stylish.

I worked with Meghan and the group at Vara Design to create the most fantastic wine room I could have possibly imagined! I waited years to do this and I knew the style I was going for. However, I am no designer...I needed someone to step in, take my ideas, expand on them and bring them to life! They plucked it out of my head and into my home! They're creative, fresh, thoughtful, easy to work with ... experts in their field! I had cheaper bids and say what you will, truth is you get what you pay for. If I had it to do over again, I would not change a thing and I would not hesitate to hire them again! Cheers!

We engaged VARA for interior design, construction planning and oversight, as well as furniture selections for the common areas of our DuPage County home. We knew from our first meeting we had selected the right firm. The ladies at VARA are personable, good listeners who make it their top priority to deliver a space that truly reflects you and your family. They show up when they say they will and will craft their proposal to fit your budget. Always willing to present options to keep your spend in line, VARA was a great partner with us and we maneuvered the many turns of a large residential project. VARA's chosen contractors were equally impressive -- the construction crew in particular. I've never even heard of a contractor that consistently shows up and gets done early. The result is a space we are very proud of. Now more than a few months old, my wife and I still find ourselves standing just inside the front door staring at our new look. We've recommended VARA to any friends and neighbors who inquire. And visitors to our home that truly know us all comment that the project reflects our personalities and style perfectly. There's no higher compliments than those.

Vara Design is a very unique company that brings a fun twist to the design industry. We are a granite fabricator that works with them providing countertops for their projects. Over the last few years we have had the privilege to work hand in hand on these fun projects. Dana and Megan have a true passion to bring something different and unique to each job they work on. A lot of designers tend to stick with one design they are comfortable with and recreate that with every client, I have not seen that trend with Vara Design. They reach outside the box on every job and no two are alike. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to create a unique project with a touch of class.

The team at VARA completely oversaw the design of our new home from the initial architectural phase to the final placement of art and accessories. They were on top of every detail and worked closely with us and our builder to ensure everything was perfect. Their design ideas are fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the end result. I would recommend them to anyone!

Vara Design provided two options to remodel the common area hallways and lobby for a 5 story office condominium building in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. They incorporated the Association's needs to update the walls, carpeting, elevator cabs and lobby recognizing the financial limitations faced by the Association. Their ideas were right on the mark and addressed the concerns of unit owners and the Board of Directors. Their design was innovative and refreshing to update a 25 year old building which had no previous work done in the halls and lobby. Pleasing 30 unit owners is not an easy task, but their presentation to the owners of the design options resulted in a consensus agreement and positive feedback from all of the unit owners. Their use of a power point presentation with sample boards projected their design plan effectively. Their team is articulate and responsive and has one of the most required, but seldom delivered talents.......THEY LISTEN TO AND ADDRESS THE CONCERNS AND NEEDS OF THEIR CLIENT. As a property manager who has been in the business of managing office, retail and industrial properties for over30 years, it was a pleasure working with this group.

We have worked together on several projects. We kept bumping into each other through our clients. We have worked well together on all of our projects. They have an amazing sense for what our/their clients want even when the client doesn't know what they want. Communication was always open and easy with them . Very responsive to emails and text messages. We have worked with other firms, but the ladies at VARA, are our favorite. They get the job done. They get the product on time and always great quality of the items. I look forward to our next project together.

I have been working with the Vara design team for several years. They are great with personal and commercial design, work with your budget and have a great team of contractors at their disposal. Every project I have seen or been a part of has been seamless in its execution.

We love working with the dynamic team of Vara design. As Architects, we have worked with them on a few projects in the last couple of years. The professionals at VARA did a great job on the design of our basement. We had already selected a contractor who had begun framing when Megan, Dana and Andrea came aboard, and their involvement helped undo some previous poor decisions we'd made before it was too late. They gave us great, creative ideas while still prioritizing function, and their use of color and material helped the finished space exceed our expectations while still coming in around our budget. Highly recommended, especially if you're considering carving out some space for a wine cellar.

Working with Dana and the team at Vara Design was my first experience with an interior design firm. Given the high quality, timely, and affordable work, I don't plan to use anyone else for future projects! I was a first-time home buyer when I reached out to Dana to spearhead and carry out the complete gut and rehab of my condo at Lake Point Towers. Not only did she and the Vara Design team create and execute an unique vision for my space, but were also able to complete the project within budget!
