We have worked with Ahmet and Ece for interior design of our home. A complete gut out was planned. Ahmet came to our house many time for several meetings, he was very thorough, he listened us very well and he addressed all our requests. His drawings were excellent. We were extremely happy, we were about to start the project with contractors that Ahmet connected us with however we moved unexpectedly. The project was never realized however we still are keeping the drawings in case we go back :). Their price was very reasonable.

MANA DESIGN STUDIO

Urbane Architects helped us with the design and construction of our full renovation/ addition project. our future residence will be a 2,700 SF living area in 3 levels including a two bedroom rental flat in the basement level. we had some particular wish list for our new home’s layout which Ahmet and Ece patiently listened to us and incorporated them into their design. Their great knowledge of construction method, estimated cost and their experiences with working through different DC agencies were the few advantage of hiring them as our Architects. Their detailed and accurate permit set drawings made the permitting process very fast and smoothly. They responded to DCRA comments in a very short period of time. Their coordination between other disciplinary such as structural engineer and MEP engineer were very sufficient and pain-free for us as their client. I highly recommend Urbane Architects for any residential/ commercial project. Natasha and Termeh

I contracted with Urbane Architects to design a retirement home in a rural area of Virginia. The property where I am building is on my great-grandparents land and this project was very special to me. The project had to be done with care and concern. I found their work from the initial contract to the finished design to be of high quality. I can't wait to build and was ecstatically pleased!

We hired UrbaneArchitects to design a garage addition to our 1970's Contemporary home as well as update the original house. We asked for a two-car garage with ample storage within and with attic space as well. We also asked that the design blend with our current house's structure and look like it had always been there. They also helped us design the renovations for the interior or our house which include adding a Master Bedroom suite with ensuite bathroom, renovating the basement to include adding a bathroom, relocating the kitchen, and knocking out walls to redesign the main floor, The results were on point and we could not have been happier. The project reflected UrbaneArchitects professionalism and knowledge of design in the way they met deadlines and stayed within our budget.

Ryan Eades

We used Urbane Architects in 2013 on the recommendation of a neighbor and were extremely please with our experience. It was great that they live in the same neighborhood we do so they understood the space and structure of our project very intimately. Our goal was to knock down a load bearing wall on our first floor between the galley kitchen and dining room in order to open up the space. Ece & Ahmet walked us thru several options that spanned different levels of intensity with regard to the work that would need to happen. Each step of the way they guided us through with patience and understanding while always putting our needs first. Their work was timely, professional and inspired. Four years later our open kitchen is the center of our family's living every day and gets constant raves from visitors to our home. We would work with them again happily!

We worked with Ece and Ahmet for renewal of our house. It was a 20 years old, 250 m2 villa with a 500 m2 garden. First they listened us very well and understand what we need and want and then they came up with 3 fantastic design which was far beyond our dreams. After cost calculations we together decided on a design and start work. Besides their architectural taste and vision, they were also very careful, quick and attentive. They coordinated very well with the construction team which save us money and time. Thanks to Urbane, now we are living in our dream house.
