Terri helped from the beginning on our project. We had multiple meetings with her including a home visit. She listened to our ideas and came up with exactly the products and materials we were looking for. Terri was instrumental in the design. She created detailed plans down to electrical placement, height of fixtures, air return changes and even direction of doors. She also helped solve placement with plumbing as this was a complete gut and remodel. Terri created plans that made the job easy for our contractors. They were clear and concise and easy to send electronically. She even helped with getting the best price for our orders through Hermitage Lighting. She coordinated everything from HLG and connected us with other personnel there when necessary. Terri is great to work with. She is friendly, caring and really listens to the clients to create exactly what they want. I had a great experience with Terri and everyone at Hermitage Lighting Gallery.

We used Terri Sears at Hermitage for a turnkey kitchen renovation and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She created a new footprint for our kitchen that exceeded our expectations. Terri Sears designed our condo to provide maximum function and comfort as we downsized to our “retirement” home in the city. Terri guided us through an extensive remodeling journey. Remodeling both our guest and master bathrooms with Terri was a fantastic experience! She was very conscious of our budget and timeline, helping us to make choices that fit within both. It was a pleasure working with Terri and her team to design and install a kitchen, butlers pantry, laundry and library at our new custom built home out in the country. In particular, her excellent design skill and suggestions to improve our architect's initial work has resulted in a very efficient kitchen. Many guests have commented on how easy it is for two or three people to work simultaneously. The library design and layout is particularly stunning. Her install team was efficient, professional and courteous throughout the nearly month long install. We also love the Mouser cabinets she selected. They are of the utmost quality. Terri is a magical unicorn of a human. She was an incredible design partner, curious and committed to finding materials, colors, and layouts that were true to my personal style. Terri recently helped me design two kitchens and two master baths. One was for my personal home and the other for a spec house we built. I showed her Pinterest pins on the styles I wanted for each house and she was easily able to pull out samples that matched---so many choices can be overwhelming. She was great about staying on budget in the spec house while still making it look way above builder grade. She worked well with my architect/builder (he was impressed with her precision) on both projects and even suggested some things for my personal home kitchen that made a huge difference. I purchased a lot of materials on my own (tile, sink, faucet, tubs) and she was very accommodating in working with those items to ensure they fit perfectly. She always followed up and followed through with what she said she was going to do--very professional. Overall, it was a joy to work with Terri and I would highly recommend her. I'll be working with her again!!

Terri designed our master bath renovation. She previously designed our kitchen redo a couple of years prior. Terri was great to work with. She helped us create a "real" project budget and helped us stay within that budget. She was great at knowing where to spend the money to get the best bang, and where we could save without impacting the overall quality. Terri was recommended to me by a friend after I complained of ever finding a designer who could give me what i was looking for in a kitchen. She came up with an innovative solution to my cramped and dated 1960's floor plan. We knocked out a wall, moved a laundry room to the other end of the house and shifted a couple of doorways to allow for better flow and additional cabinet space. Terri was great at reading my reactions as we worked together on the design evolution, drawing me out to express exactly what I was thinking if she sensed I wasn't happy with something. The end product has surpassed my expectations! She worked diligently with me to keep costs within reach, and the end result is a beautiful space with high quality cabinetry for a reasonable cost. She was responsive and available throughout the complex, year-long process (my timetable, not hers), and I felt like I had someone in my corner at every turn. Terri personally made sure that everything was delivered intact and installed correctly, troubleshooting any issues promptly as they emerged. The Hermitage installation team is top notch, as well (thanks, Bob)! I absolutely love spending time in my beautiful new kitchen, as well as the spa-like master bath she designed for me! I just completed an entire kitchen remodel with Terri Sears, a designer at the Hermitage Kitchen Design Gallery. Terri was involved in all aspects of the design and implementation of the project. She worked with me to create a kitchen with an excellent design that resulted in separate areas for food preparation, cooking, bar, butler's pantry and entertaining. My favorite feature is the overall functionality of the space. I had a great experience with Terri and Joni Mattingly(appliances) and I couldn't be more pleased with the cabinet selection, hardware, lighting, backsplash and appliances. Terri was able to transform a dark dull kitchen into a light and bright room where the oversized island can accommodate 6 people and still leave ample space for a countertop bistro set (on order). I would highly recommend Terri for anyone considering a kitchen remodel. Her guidance and expertise in the selection of all components resulted in an overall beautiful and functional space.

I hired Terri with Hermitage Lighting Gallery to remodel a guest bathroom and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The overall experience was great. Terri had great selections for tiles, cabinets, faucets, etc. She came up with every aspect of the bathrooms and I love them both. She was right on target for the completion of the job. A good designer can make a competent aesthetic living space with such concepts as symmetry, palette, coordination, etc. But an exceptional one understands and plans for how people live within that environment. Based on the reviews we found on Houzz, we hired Terri to design and remodel a kitchen and bathroom in our 1920s cottage. Terri did an amazing job, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone thinking about these types of projects. Terri's designs are wonderful - she completely understood our vision and was able to put it to paper beautifully. Terri is also very accessible - she went above and beyond for us, visiting our home many times to check on progress, meeting us several times to look for our marble countertops (which proved difficult to find), and responding to emails quickly. Terri is an amazing professional kitchen and bath designer. We recently renovated our home and worked with Terri on the transformation. Teri was so easy to work with. Our job was small but every inch was important. I actually found Terri on Houzz, saw how many great reviews she had and sought her out to hire her immediately after meeting her. She asked many important questions (Many I had not thought of) and very helpful upon first meeting. I had no idea how cumbersome this project would be (thank goodness I though it would be worse than what it was- expectations in check) and Terri guided us through this project with ease and grace. Even when I changed my mind and went a different direction (it happened 3 times) she was always helpful and encouraging. A full kitchen remodel is no joke... But Terri, Bill, and our Cabinet guy (sorry) took us through this project without holdups, without major (anything over/under $300 total) invoice changes, and with everything being completed just the way we had always dreamed (and then some). This was all accomplished within the time frame allotted. The project included taking down walls, putting up walls, a giant new header, Installing new lights, cabinets, flooring, back splash, appliances, legrand system, faucet, sink, venting (hood) and gas (Stove). It also included taking out a pantry and making it into a large finished linen closet. Terri and her team has made our family's dream a reality. I highly recommend Terri Sears for a bath design project. She turned a dark, cramped bathroom into a beautiful space for 2 girls that is also functional and has plenty of storage. Terri shared many great ideas and was very patient as I rejected several options until I found the perfect materials, colors, etc. She was also conscious of my budget throughout the process. What a wonderful experience working with Terri! She helped us redesign our kitchen and baths in our historic home - from the layout of space to the final details of beautiful hardware and fixtures. She made something that was difficult quite manageable. i,e Last project not one of us could figure out how to configure,,,,,Teri figured it out in one day...as I knew she would Two other projects were properties built in the late 30's which we completely renovated. Teri did a phenomenal job in reconfiguring a new floor plan, gave us very realistic itemized material lists for every aspect of the renovation...Her CAD drawings, and layouts were such that both properties were sold prior to completion Bottom line: we would not even remotely consider a renovation project without out Teri's involvement, and she is easy to work with

She is dependable, talented, and personable. She figures out difficult spaces remarkably well. She knows what she is doing-- and has helped us with our first 2 houses we have renovated. She was very mindful of budgeting. Could not ask for a better person to help us!

Terri is a terrific designer, project manager and communicator, not to mention a wonderful personality. I've had experience working with over 20 subs and multiple contractors to compare, and her ability to start and finish a job with consistent attention to detail, timelines and budgets is extraordinary. She has experience with all milestones on a project and can speak the appropriate language with subs to make sure there is clear direction.
