I cannot recommend Trevor Brown Architects enough. From start to finish he and the team were outstanding. The attention to detail was meticulous throughout, in both the planning stage and project management stage. They came up with ideas that I would not have dreamt of and as a result have my dream house. I am so pleased that I used them to project manage as they dealt with everything throughout the renovations, liaising with all of the various contractors, attending the property when needed and much much more. As a result the project took the exact amount of time that he said it would from the beginning and did not over run. Finally, Trevor was always on hand for my constant flurry of calls, messages and emails so the project was as seamless and stress free as possible. I will definitely use them again.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Trevor, Florentina, Sarah and and the rest of the TBA team on our recent project. From our first phone conversation, we were confident that Trevor was organised, creative and knowledgeable and were assured that he would support us on a full renovation and extension in our new home. We were proved correct as the whole process from developing multiple layout proposals to securing planning permission and managing the tender process went smoothly and we were able to create our dream home that we probably couldn’t even imagine when we first walked in the door! As well as the architectural design and project management, TBA went above and beyond when it came to interior design - supporting us with paint colour choices, bathroom tile suggestions and even lighting schemes that definitely enhance our home and always gather compliments. They took on board our feedback but made sometimes bold suggestions that we wouldn’t have considered ourselves. The design is so strong and well thought-through that we all felt at home within weeks of living there. We even moved in a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team and would recommend them without any reservation.

Trevor and the whole team at tba were simply outstanding. They designed and project managed the extension and wholesale renovation of our newly-purchased North London home, which was delivered on time and on budget (during a pandemic no less). We can hardly believe that we get to live in such a beautiful and carefully considered home. tba produced multiple, iterative layout proposals that took account of our preferences and lifestyle with young children. Once the design was finalised, tba helped obtain planning permission for us, tendered the project (which was awarded to an excellent company with a proven track record for tba) and oversaw the execution of the design. tba was also closely involved in the interior design of the house and came up with interesting and bold ideas that we would never have thought of but which work beautifully. Quite apart from the end result, working with tba was a pleasure. Trevor and the team were always professional, responsive and keen to help. They brought their skills and attention to detail to every aspect of the project, however small and were on hand to deal with any issues as they emerged. We had complete trust in them. We can only thank tba for giving us the home of our dreams and we would recommend them without any reservation.

Trevor and his team have designed a beautiful home for us and one we absolutely love living in. We did a full interior renovation and TBA suggested a cost-effective redesign that made excellent use of the space available to us (we always had lots of space but the old layout was very awkward and we never really enjoyed our home the way we do now). Their suggestions for new floor layouts were spot on - bright, airy, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional. Zeina’s work on the design was brilliant too. She suggested some great colour combinations that we wouldn’t have been bold enough to choose if left to our own devices and the result is stunning. The whole team was lovely to work with and they helped us source and coordinate with the builders (who we were also very impressed with and we’re glad we went with them as the top choice from our shortlist). Our project was also designed and executed during a really difficult time over the course of the pandemic so we really appreciate TBA making things as easy as possible for us. We still have our end-of-contract meeting to go but we’re confident that TBA will help us fix any final issues and address any final tweaks. As Trevor always says, you do need to live in the renovated house for a little while to fully understand what you need from it. Overall, we’re very happy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Trevor and his team to anyone looking to renovate their home.

Trevor worked at speed to design and support us with an interior renovation that was carried out in approx 3 months (record time given the work involved) and the whole experience was an absolute pleasure. There was little design time before we bought the house, but he was adept at designing on the go. His ideas have made the space beautiful, and it's just wonderful to be in it. Trevor designed us a full master bedroom suite reconfiguration, a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a cloakroom, opened up interior walls, moved others and designed joinery in all bedrooms. He was extremely clever at keeping costs down - e.g. using Ikea furniture and adapting it to look built in, and he kept the builders on track (who were also excellent). I look forward to using Trevor again as we plan more work on the house and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

We found TBA on Houzz a couple of years ago and so when we came around to embarking on our own renovation, Trevor was our first choice. We were very impressed with TBA’s engagement with the project from day one but it was their innovative designs that were really standout. We wanted something unique and a set of spaces that worked with how we lived and we immediately felt that Trevor and team understood this. We found the design stage enjoyable and pretty stress free which was largely down to the trust built between client and architect. For the build, TBA is well connected and sourced a set of competitive quotes. The site management was extremely well coordinated and we were really pleased with the builders and the relationship that they had with Trevor and team. The result was stunning and came in broadly on time which is no mean feat given the challenging supply environment. We love our beautiful new home and would like to thank the whole team who were fantastic. Trevor himself is a real pleasure to work with. He takes great pride and ownership in his work and was always there to calmly provide solutions to any challenges that arose during the project. Overall, we cannot imagine doing the build with anyone else!

Trevor and the team at TBA did a fantastic job for us through very challenging circumstances with all the difficulties covid and various shortages presented. They communicated well and showed relentless tenacity in following up on every last item through the build to ensure the job was finished to the extremely high standards Trevor sets. From a design perspective they presented us with well thought out options, with original design touches but practical uses, helping us achieve our dream home. The team are good humored and a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TBA.

Trevor and tba were absolutely excellent throughout the project. They helped us transform our North London home with a rear extension and loft conversion. Throughout the project Trevor and the team were extremely attentive, always available to discuss and would always take time with us. The teams eye for detail and fantastic talent were the reasons we chose them and we were so thankful we did. Throughout the project they were extremely practical and made sure every decision was for our benefit. They were amazing at helping us budget for the project and highlight things that would be important for us as a family. We cannot recommended tba highly enough. Thank you.

Trevor and his team did a fantastic job, designing and managing an end-to-end, back to brick renovation of our four bedroom Edwardian house in Queens Park, including side/rear extension and loft conversion. The attention to detail was excellent, they listened to all of our requests but added great features and elements, they recommended great builders for us to use, and oversaw the project right to the end. They were very supportive in helping us to achieve everything we wanted and more, and we couldn't be happier with the end result. They were also really practical in helping us to allocate our budget and prioritise the features that were really important and made a huge difference to the final product.

We were very happy with Trevor's input to our project, which consisted of integrating 2 flats in an old house and constructing a new extension. In particular we appreciated Trevor's advice - he is great at setting out the pros and cons of different alternatives. The work was conducted during various lockdowns which presented an additional challenge, but this was overcome. We also think the value of services provided was very reasonable. We would fully recommend Trevor to anyone else.

We now live in a wonderful, gorgeous home because of Trevor Brown Architects (TBA). My wife and I derive great pleasure from this house, and are still super excited to be actually living in it! It's testament to the many skills of TBA that we feel this way. The house just works for us as a family; it looks spectacular, but it's so very functional too. It's such an easy house to live in. The flow, the light (both artificial and natural), the materials, the space, the storage, the details, etc - all of it the vision of TBA. Our 4 bed semi was rather tired; it hadn't really been updated since the 1980s, and while it was structurally sound, it had drawbacks. For the sizeable footprint of the house, the living spaces were sub-optimal. In late 2019 we spoke to half a dozen architects, and immediately connected with Trevor. He very quickly understood what we wanted, despite us not really being able to articulate it to him. He was able to offer us a vision that we could grasp, and then we went from there. My wife and I are not really massively into design/houses/interiors etc - we know what we like when we see it, but couldn't provide a coherent articulation of what we like or wanted, so we gave TBA quite a free rein to design the house for us. We did not have a specific idea of what it should be like, outside some fundamentals such as number of bedrooms/bathrooms/approx size etc What TBA provided for us was guided decision making. All the way through the project, we were given multiple suggestions by TBA, and then through discussion and multiple samples, we'd arrive at a decision. TBA committed a huge amount of time and effort to this, often producing 5 or more drawings to help us decide upon a particular layout. We made many decisions, but they never felt rushed, forced or tedious. Frequently we'd say to TBA 'What do you think?', and while they'd always say it's up to us, they'd give their opinion on what they'd do if it was their house. That saved us a lot of time, reduced decision-making fatigue, and got us such a funky home! We used TBA for the design, the tendering & contract phase for builders, the project management and the interior design. We had faith in them and they delivered. It was a smooth build, and while there were issues, TBA were there to sort things out, and did a lot of the filtering between the builders and ourselves, so we were not having to commit too much time. TBA soaked up much of the pressure caused by COVID supply issues and staffing problems, thus our stress levels were minimal. TBA have been very engaged and responsive post- build. We moved in months ago but TBA are still on hand if there are issues. Trevor will come over to discuss said issues and will follow up with the various trades to see them resolved. We have never felt that we had to fend for ourselves. It's such a comfort knowing they are still so receptive and proactive to our experience of living in this home. I wouldn't hesitate to use TBA again.

We couldn't have asked for any more from Trevor Brown and his team. They completed a renovation of an open plan kitchen and living space and additional works on the ground floor of our family home. Trevor and his team were highly professional, transparent, thoughtful and considerate to our needs and wants at all times. The ideas and deigns were innovative and kept very much to our wishes. They kept the project ticking through and were always thinking one step ahead. They project managed the renovation which in total took around 6 months to complete and almost completely ran to schedule as predicted. The whole project was stress free and ran completely smoothly. We literally couldn't have asked for more from the team and will definitely be looking to TBA for further help with future projects.
