Chi siamo

Trace Wilson, with over 25 years of experience, is a licensed Architect in the State of California, and Certified Planner with the American Planning Association. With a Master's in Architecture and Urbanism from MIT, and a Bachelor of Architecture from USC, Trace has a breadth of knowledge that extends far past the design and construction of buildings. His passion lies in how to create great places that include quality city and town plans -- streetscapes, parks, open spaces, as well as exceptional buildings. Trace's focus as Principle of Materia, is to bring Architecture, Urbanism, Landscape, Planning and Development together to create quality, unique, and exciting places throughout the World.

Hiring Trace was the best decision we made on our house. His vision and detailing make the house spectacular; it is modern, sophisticated, and timeless. Trace was very easy to work with and always professional. We still consult him on design choices, and feel that we made a friend in this process. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Trace designed an updated landscape for our front and back yard. The results are magnificent! He also connected us with a terrific contractor. We have lived in our home for 20 years but the landscape Trace created has made it even more beautiful! We will easily stay another 20 years! I highly recommend Trace.

My husband and I hired Trace Wilson to design our house in Cardiff 5 years ago. We could not be more pleased. He was professional, easy to work with, knowledgeable, patient, and listened to exactly what we wanted in a house. He was spot on with every suggestion. Whenever we entertain, our guests comment about the floor plan, design, attention to detail and maximization of the land and views. We cannot be happier with our home and a large part of that is due to Trace.
