Our services include custom home remodels, tenant improvements and a full range of home repair services. Whether it’s new construction from the ground up, or a small home improvement project, our mission is to provide our clients with a consistently high standard of quality craftsmanship. We have a full time crew of experienced and highly qualified skilled tradesmen, some of whom we have continuously employed for over 20 years. Tom and his crew completely renovated my townhouse. The quality of the work was excellent and they have an eye for detail. The work was performed on schedule and with complete explanation along the way. I will certainly use his services again when the time come up. I recommend him without reservation.

After some very bad past experiences with previous contractors, I feel amazingly blessed to have discovered Grunow Constructions in La Jolla. We are five months into our large project, and I can say unequivocally that the Grunow Construction team has been exrraordinary in every way. Their expertise, organization and communication skills are top notch. They totally deserve my 5 star rating!!!!!!

We were so pleased with our experience working with Grunow Construction and specifically Bill Higgins. The workmanship was great, and we're so happy with our remodel. Grunow took our second floor down to the studs, updating bedrooms and bathrooms. The finished product looks amazing! All of the workers from Grunow were polite and skilled. What a refreshing way to remodel our house. In the past, we made the mistake of using another construction company, but we will not make that mistake again. We will definitely use Grunow! Bill Higgins was really great to work with. He effectively kept us updated on the timing and cost of the project. He also had great ideas for materials and layout. We could not be happier.

I have had Grunow construction do various jobs in my big house. They have wonderful workers that I trust completely in my home. They all do their job perfectly the first time and its always a pleasure to work with them on various projects.

My wife and I took on the challenge to build a second "get-away" home. We were hoping that the process would be creative, fun and memorable. It has been all of that and then some. We now have a beach cottage that has turned out even better than we had initially anticipated. "Bellevue Cottage" is now completed and ready to be a part of new memories for our children, grandchildren and, of course, grandma and grandpa. We anticipate submitting pictures to Houzz early in 2014.

Tom Grunow and his company is one of the most reputable long standing contractors in La Jolla. He is honest and experienced and well versed in general construction and contracting. He is also the President of the La Jolla Historical Society. I rate Tom Grunow a 5 Star company in customer service.
