Our firm can work on either an hourly consultation or percent construction budget basis. Through our experience, consultation works best for the $25,000 to $40,000 projects, and then percent construction budget is better suited for the larger projects of $40,000 and upwards, because our involvement becomes quite thorough and detailed.

Altgelt and Associates did a fantastic job designing our new-construction landscaping. They listened to our desires and then created the perfect patio and yard for us. The beautiful boulders that were incorporated into the landscape were hand-picked by them. The design stayed within our budget. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a landscape designer!

My wife and I used Altgelt & Associates to finish the backyard of our new home. We absolutely love their design, and the way the project came out. We went through a couple of design iterations with Tom and Anhyka, and settled on a fairly ambitious project. After the initial design was settled, we worked with a recommended landscaper to realize the vision. Anhyka worked closely with us every step of the way, and helped us roll with small changes as they came along. We came in very close to the original budget, and are very pleased with the end results. We've now spent a full cycle of seasons in our yard, and couldn't be happier. Great firm, and great people to work with. Would highly recommend!

Provided quality design/build services for an intimate courtyard. Landscape architect provided timely reviews of concept, working and final designs. Great attention was given to client input throughout the project. Innovative use of hand-cut stone provided elevated gardens and cozy conversation areas. Help in selecting a high quality stone mason as our landscape contractor made for a unique place to socialize and garden. The use of containers provided for color and textures using annual plantings. Water features and night lighting provided the dimensions of solitude and serenity.

I've worked with them on a variety of property designs over the years and have found their co-creative approach, their ability to listen to what both client and land are saying, and their ability to generate an array of sensitive options are what set the company apart. Their designs, their genuine sense of what can enhance the land, and their ability to make the final product look so natural, as if it had always been there, are all parts of what make Altgelt & Associates landscapes so exquisite. They give voice to the land and to the people who share the land.

I cannot say enough good things about the process of working with Altgelt and Associates, and the beautiful, beautiful product. Our extraordinary landscape is admired by all who see it -- a credit to their artistry, knowledge and follow through. The reasonable price we paid for their design services was the best money we spent on our entire comprehensive remodel/rebuild. (There was a separate budget for the actual installation-- The price indicated here is for whole job). I would like to especially recognize Anykha whose vision and integrity is truly extraordinary. Anyone who is looking for a creative landscape design of the highest caliber should look no further.

I used Altgelt and Associates on three different projects: a spanish/mediteranean style home where we built the house around courtyards and the landscape was inspired by the Alhambra gardens in Spain. a townhouse garden in Vail that brought the aspens and mountain stream feel into a compact area; and a Wash Park bungalow renovation where a zen aesthetic in the garden has made it a wonderful place to relax. Altgelt doesn't do the expected, their design sensibility can suit many styles, and knowledge of plants and what works is impeccable.
