Turn of the Century Lighting

If there were six stars I would give this company all of them. After a disappointing effort on my part to 'clean up' an old brass chandelier I handed the job to these experts. I was thrilled that they did a restoration job and gave me information as to what they would do to bring a wonderful old piece back to vibrant life and also on the maker, a happy surprise! Highly recommended for expertise and value.

I came across this gem of a little lighting boutique through creative lighting fixtures that had caught my eye from the street. Curiosity took me inside and that is when I met Michael the Maganer and designer of the pendants I took interest in. Michael is not only a very creative Designer but is highly knowledgeable and very resourceful when it comes to lighting. His workmanship is also meticulous and impeccable. I had three custom hand blown Murano glass sconces and a chandelier created in Italy and had commissioned Michael to completely rewire them for CSA approval. It was a task that required a lot of expertise and Michael did an immaculate job in putting all the delicate parts back together. I know it required a huge amount of craftsmanship so I would highly recommend Turn of the Century Lighting to anyone looking for very unique lighting pieces or have any type of work done to their lighting fixtures.

Turn of the Century are the defacto experts when it comes to period lighting. We've worked with them on several custom fixtures for our clients and the service and quality is second to none. Companies with the experience and in house capabilities of Turn of the Century are rare and becoming rarer still. The breadth and depth of their historical lighting knowledge is encyclopedic, there's not much in the world of lighting these guys don't know, can't answer, repair, restore or make outright.

Great shop! We bought our dining room light there which was an amazing Victorian gas light that fully restored. Scott helped us with bathroom lighting and we even designed a custom light fixture for our bedroom. They restore and make everything which is a change from all of the other lighting stores.
