Third Street designed and built a wonderful custom bed for us. They listens to our unique requests and solved the challenges our room presented. We liked it so much that a year later we had them design desk to compliment it. Both peices bring character and style to our master bedroom unlike any other. We recommend their craftsmanship and we continue to think of new problems for them to solve.

We have had a bed designed and built by Third Street Studios for going on two years now, and it is still something we notice as being really, really nice. We wanted a simple, rugged, easily cleaned and not easily damaged platform, of unusual height and with plenty of clearance underneath - not a showpiece, but our regular bed. They built us all that in an open, pleasant, cherry and birch, rock solid construction of genuine elegance ( if recall serves, a carefully discussed modification of one of about a dozen possibilities drawn up to fit our basic requests). The bed is easily made up and cleaned around (and disassembles for moving), it has no dust traps, no creaks, no give in the headboard or anything else; and it’s beautiful. The wood glows in the morning. We couldn’t be more pleased.

I have had the pleasure of working with Third Street Studios on several projects. They build beautiful custom cabinetry and their attention to detail is unmatched. The more closely you look at their work, the more amazed you become at the care and craftsmanship they put into their pieces. In addition, Linda, Bob and Russ are a joy to work with. We have worked with Linda, Bob and Russ several times. Our most recent project was a kitchen redo. I enjoy working with Third St. because they are creative with design, and provide beautiful workmanship. Over time they have designed several pieces of furniture, a stairway railing, and a new kitchen for us. I like that they design using many different materials, wood, metal, stone etc. I have recommended them to others, and I will use them again myself when I have another project.

Third Street Studios designed and built our kitchen cabinets for a major remodel of our condo in a historic warehouse building in Minneapolis. They tackled the challenges with enthusiasm and talent. We entertain frequently and hear ooohhs and ahhhs when guests enter the kitchen. Third Street Studios also designed and built custom potting benches and incorporated materials we brought home from our travels. These pieces will be family heirlooms. Linda, Russ, and Bob were meticulously professional in all respects from start to finish and delightful to work with.

Third Street Studios built two pieces for me: a bathroom medicine cabinet and a king bookshelf headboard. In both cases I had a vision for what I needed and limited space. After searching long and hard, I realized the only solution was to have these items custom built. Third Street was a delight to work with. They looked at my ideas, and worked with me to come up with drawings and plans. The finished products are perfect. They are both functional and beautiful. They work in my limited space and fit the design of my house. Russ, Bob, and Linda are a great team. They are a joy to work with. They take pride in their work with good reason. They are true artisans.

Five stars are not enough to describe the superb quality of the cabinets and the precision of artistry designed into our newly remodeled kitchen by Third Street Studios. Linda created a beautiful yet practical kitchen including a stylish eating area. Storage abounds in our new space and flows effortlessly for the busy cook. Russ' and Bob's attention to detail and fine craftsmanship insured that the new kitchen was even better than what we could ever imagine. Linda was our project manager and stayed on top of the budget all the way (she was more worried about the $$ than I was, Thank you Third Street Studios!) Our mid century modern kitchen included rifted oak cabinets and tile accents and involved re-locating the stove,frig & dishwasher. Additional lighting ,outlets and windows were added with the talents of Caleb Rick of North Coast Construction. North Coast also met the challenge of removing walls, widening doorways,and installing the marmoleum flooring. The project from conception to final took about 14 weeks.

design: complete kitchen remodel, reorienting the center island created greater, more efficient space for us / rest of layout beautiful and efficient as well / crown moulding and other details sensitive to time and architecture of our 113 year-old home / Linda brought great ideas and alternatives after listening to our vision and issues, she "got it", making design an easy and happy collaboration craftsmanship: highest quality Linda, Russ and Bob were always attentive and accommodating to us and all the others who worked on this project. Very easy to have around; always dependable, budget and deadlines met.

I needed more storage and function in my kitchen but did not want to redo the cabinets or layout. Linda designed a beautiful, compact unit that provides about 6 cabinets worth of storage, plus a concealed home for my countertop appliances, a granite work surface, and space for a 32" flat screen TV with hidden components. The construction and finishes are exceptional - I've never seen such attention to detail! All three of the principals were a delight to work with, and Russ and Bob took great pains with the installation. Linda and I worked hard to keep within budget, and the whole project was done on time. Third Street Studios has my full and enthusiastic recommendation!
