My work is characterised by simplicity in approach, non-formality of layout and the careful placement of details. I try to engage all five senses when creating any interior. Light helps me convey warmth; I use materials that compel one to touch and feel; straight simple lines to relax the eyes, and colour to invite one to think about scent and sound. I am only fully satisfied and finished with my work once I myself feel envy towards the owner. I know that my work for a client is complete when I feel the sofa in the new interior calling for me to put my feet up, the armchair inviting me to watch a movie, and the table asking if I am hungry! Once the owner feels the ease of the space and the effortlessness of his or hers surroundings, I know my work has been done well.
