SOI BOI

What a fun experience the total build and design of my home has been. This has been due to the fact that I had the pleasure of working with Soi Boi Interiors. We tore down our existing older home and built a new. The overall process took over 2 years and Soi Boi was there every step of the way. They went above and beyond to make sure solid communication was present at all times with our building team. This not only resulted in a beautiful home but being right on budget. These lovely ladies have spent many hours getting to know my family, but they spent just as much time guiding us on how we can achieve the results we want. They were involved in architecture tweaks, and picking every design element of our home from plumbing to pillows. Rita and Shay took time to understand how our family operates, gathers, and entertainers. They choose materials, furniture and accessories that will grace our home for many years to come. We've used Rita and Shay several times to help us with updating and remodeling our home. They are both very professional, showing up on time, getting back to us within a reasonable timeframe and communicating well. They have provided us with several options to look at and put together "project boards" so we can see what the finished design will look like. We love the way our home looks with the changes they've helped us make.

If I weren't so embarrassed, I'd show a before picture of our living room. Shay and Rita took a room that housed all of our junk and turned it into a peaceful and calm oasis and our favorite room in our house! We love coming in this room to read, relax, and talk with guests. Shay and Rita also designed our master bedroom. We love the artwork that they chose and that they were able to use some of our existing art and pictures. Shay and Rita are able to work magic on a budget and brought in some really fun and unexpected items that we love!

We hired Shay O'Connor last spring to help redesign our children's bedrooms. Our goal was to create more personality, functionality, and organization to each room. Shay helped accomplish all of the above. She is so easy to work with, full of wonderful ideas, and finished the project in a timely manner. My children are thrilled about their rooms. I highly recommend Shay.

Shay is wonderful! I interviewed a few different interior designers and I'm so glad I selected Shay, she is so easy to work with and has a great eye to incorporate what you already have with new things to update your look.

I had an excellent experience working with Shay on redecorating and furnishing our living room and kitchen area. She listened to my interests and tastes carefully. She provided options but also introduced new ideas that were within my comfort zone. Shay was able to translate a long time desire and intent to make a change in my home into an amazing, complete finished design. Shay is hands on, conscious of cost and with a wonderfully resourceful and creative style.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Shay O'Connor, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She did an awesome job of taking into account our style, personality, and budget, and creatively pushing the limits of that style in ways that we wouldn't have thought of on our own but that we ended up loving. She was communicative and responsive throughout the process, and so it felt like we were coming up with a vision together, even though it was Shay's enthusiasm, expertise, and creativity that made the vision happen. She took existing pieces and used them in unique ways, and had the vision to see that small changes to other pieces that we didn't think would work could make them work really well, and then she blended all that with new pieces that we picked out together. She did a fantastic job of tying everything together, old and new. She made spaces flow better and our day-to-day living has actually been improved by the redesign. Highlights include turning our sunroom into a space that both my wife and I now enjoy in ways that we didn't before. Shay has a great eye for design, color, and flow, and a knack for turning the ordinary into something unique and beautiful. She was a professional throughout, and handled the pressure of two rather difficult clients really well, and even made the whole thing fun!!

Shay O'Connor Interiors is Boise's Best designer decorator. Working with Shay to update my home has made me fall in love with our house all over again at a budget that leaves room for extra! She is a total Delight and professional to work with. Her thoughtful listening to our family needs, lifestyle requirements and keen eye for light and design lead her to create spaces that flow perfectly, fit our needs, and create a totally new environment. I had artwork that Was no longer bringing me joy and Shay re-framed and juxtaposed pieces together that I had never imagined. Now, of course, they are my favorites! She redesigned nearly everything so that it could be seen in a new way that freshened each space AND fit our budget! The new pieces she added to our collection are so perfect that I only wish I had done it sooner! I loved having her manage our new hardwood flooring and picking out the perfect couch for our new living room. After seeing her portfolio of children's rooms we can't wait for her to sprinkle her magic on a bedroom makeover! Booking soon!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Shay O'Connor's work. I felt overwhelmed and frustrated after moving into our home. I had no idea how to make any of our furniture or decor work in a new space. In addition, we were on a budget. Shay was able to work a miracle by using pieces we already owned in new ways and helping me find inexpensive accessories (that look amazing) to create a living space that is both functional and beautiful. I would also like to add that I didn't make this particularly easy because, while I am hopeless at design, I am particular as to my taste. Shay was patient and helpful in putting my style in place; something I could not achieve on my own. Our new home now looks and feels beautiful. I am so grateful to Shay because she truly helped us make our new house a home.
