We chose Golden Hammer to do a major gut renovation of our master bathroom. I interviewed several general contractors and Shawn was by far the most knowledgeable and honest about the process. We had specific "aging in place" goals that needed to be addressed. Our design process took several months, but in the end that time spent up front paid big dividends on the back end. I have high praise for the entire team at GH. They have competent and responsive office staff, very good in-house on-site workers and they also use the best sub contractors for their jobs. Their supervisors handle the details and keep you informed. That communication is the key. Nothing ever goes 100% perfectly on any job regardless of your planning. But what matters is how the situations are handled and rectified. My experience is that GH does the right thing for their clients and we couldn't be happier with our completed project. We were so pleased and confident that we contracted them for a 2nd project before the master bathroom was even completed. Schedule a consultation and you will see what I mean. I walked the home the evening before and was blown away. For her it had been 4+ weeks since last visiting. I think this must be the best company for remodeling in Gainesville. They are perfectionists down to the smallest detail. They communicated with us about everything they were doing, so we were able to have a lot of input throughout the project. When they were done, it was a perfect job and there was not one scratch, scuff, mark or paint drop left behind. They are proud of their standards.

We hired Golden Hammer for a master bath/suite remodel. They did an excellent job. We were informed of every step and their project manager checked in at every step. The staff from demo, painters, plumbers, and tile were top quality. The barrier they put in kept dust down and they cleaned up daily. In addition to the Tub, Toliet, Shower and Vanity, the project involved wall paper removal, drywall removal and opening up a window. They also replaced the Tile and the Carpet in the Master Bedroom with LVP Flooring. We love the new bathroom, I would highly recommend Golden Hammer. Golden Hammer remodeled our master bathroom. They are very methodical, strive for perfection and only use the best labor and materials. If you want fast and cheap they are not the way to go. But the end result is that we have a prefect bathroom with absolutely no flaws. If we ever remodel our second bathroom we will definitely use them again.

Our roofing contractor bailed with a huge sum of money, and a half finished job when we called Golden Hammer. They had to deal with city code enforcement as well as historic preservation to salvage as much as they could from the first contractor's mistakes, and bring us up to code.
