Chi siamo

Schalich Brothers Construction was founded in Marin County in 1980. We specialize in new custom home construction and remodels in both the residential and small commercial sectors in Marin, San Francisco and Sonoma Counties. We are multi-licensed to create a turnkey environment for our clients where we can construct both your house and exterior components to streamline schedule and potentially reduce costs. We are family owned with long time employees, great sub base and look forward to constructing great buildings for another 40 years. Our goal is to forge lasting relationships with our clients through excellent workmanship and constructability methods. Our strong suit is working with the clients, their architects and designers in completing the project on time, on budget, and with the quality we can all be proud of.

We were contracted by Schalich Brothers and their team to work on a beautiful fireplace project in Healdsburg. The entire team, especially James and Ross, is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and for. During the entire project we received clear directions and guidelines which made our scope so much easier to complete. At the end, the clients/homeowners are happy and that is what is most important. We are looking forward to work with and for Schalich Brothers again soon!

You can trust Schalic Brothers Construction for any job! You cannot ask more from a Contractor; honest, creative, keeps deadlines, stays within the budget, works well with subs and the quality of their craftsmanship is exemplary. I personally have seen their firm remodel a Frank Lloyd Wright "type" home, construct new homes and their kitchens had the WOW factor! Jim Schalich and his brothers are highly respected Contractors and have worked for us for almost 30 years. He is a man of his word, so too are his brothers. Quality of their craftmanship combined with their committment to deadlines and most important is their integrity! Hard workers with humor too; five stars! Whether commercial and/or residential jobs, from light remodeling to building homes and/or commercial buildings; pick up the phone and call them! Pierpont Trust, Novato CA

Jim Schalich of Schalich Brothers Construction oversaw the teardown and rebuild of our California Ranch home in 2007-08. I can not recommend him more. Our project came in on time and on budget. Jim was easy and fun to work with. When we requested he have after-hours budget meetings with us, he didn't hesitate. He worked with us to knock-out our punch list items and all additional items we kept adding on. We begged our good friends to use him but they chose to go with a contractor who came in 20% less. When their 6 month project was in it's 18th month and over budget, they let their contractor go and hired Jim to finish the job. To this date, we continue to call on him for smaller projects and of course, we recommend him to everyone who will listen.

Schalich Brothers did an extensive remodel in on our house in 2000 and for a newly married couple with a baby on the way they were easy to work with, on time and on budget. The experience was fantastic. They were clear about expectations and made helpful recommendations as we moved through the process. Throughout the years we have hired them for other projects and have always been very satisfied with their work. They are our "go to" contractors and we would definitely hire them again!

When I rave about our contractors, people assume that I am at the beginning of our project, not already finished. (Because I have so much positive to say about Schalich Brothers!) We did a $400,000 remodel and addition of 1400 square feet to our home. We lived at our house while the work was being done. Schalich Brothers delivered a beautifully done project on time and on budget and were a real pleasure to work with from beginning to end!
