I like my home but am very disappointed with Sasser Construction. I would advise anyone not to close on your new home until everything is done to your satisfaction. I've been in my home 15 month's and can not get the company to correct things that were agreed to prior to closing or things that have been submitted since. My last home was built by Napolitano Home's. I paid about 1/2 the price of this home but had fewer problems and the problems I had were taken care of in a timely manner. The integrity of a company is not determined by there mistakes but how they handle them.

I have been in this industry for going on 13 years now, and it's been my pleasure teaming up with Sasser Construction. Eric Sasser has a wonderful organization of people working for him. I've truly enjoyed working with Sandra and Kelly in the office, they show such a passion for the layers of details, and organization, to ensure each step of the way is timely, and efficiently handled. The homeowners I've had the pleasure of selecting materials at Triton Stone along side with them, have nothing but great things to say about the gorgeous homes they are building together! I strongly recommend you contact them for a well built home to treasure for years to come!

First of all, let me say how surprised I am about all of the positive reviews regarding Sasser Construction. I have not had the same experience with Eric Sasser and his team. In choosing to retire after 26-plus years of active military service, my family and I made the decision to live in Suffolk, VA. We have owned our "Sasser Home" for almost four years and had to settle with structural as well as cosmetic errors because Eric convinced us that he was going to make things right (and we made the mistake of trusting his word). We are still awaiting original (inside and outside) punch list items to be completed, continue to deal with a lack of responsiveness and a total disregard towards us as a client that made such a significant investment. For example, our driveway was so unprofessionally installed (aggregate concrete) that it started cracking and deteriorating within days. Sasser Construction (and Eric's subcontractors) attempted to cover it up with off-colored stain. We continue to ask for Eric's help to make things right, but to no avail. He continues to build new homes, but forgot about us.

Ray and everyone with the Sasser team (including the subcontractors) made the entire building process so enjoyable. Our new home turned out even better than we imagined….and the entire Sasser team worked to make sure every detail was on point. We were consistantly impressed with their professionalism, their communication, and their positive can-do attitude. Ray, Kenny, Eric, Kelly, Sandra, and Brennan are all incredibly talented and take extreme pride and care in their work, which gave us complete confidence and peace of mind throughout the building process. We feel so grateful to not only be living in our dream home, but also to have gotten to work with and know so many wonderful people along the way.

What I loved about the Sasser team is that I could find a group of dedicated professionals who worked well together, making communication almost seamless. Planning with a fantastic architect in house, working closely with an expert project manager and office staff made the experience amazing!!!

My wife and I were looking for a custom built home that had everthing we wanted. We had many questions and additional changes along the way however, Eric and his staff took the extra time to get us exactly what we wanted and delivered a wonderful home that we will enjoy with our familly for years to come.

Sasser Construction worked with me through every single step of my building process. They were kind, considerate, and very patient with me. When granite & marble countertops are included in the package, you already know that they are a company who has an eye for providing the finer things to their customers. I receive compliments from every family member & friend who visits me at my new home. They gave me everything I was looking for in my forever home!

When we decided to demolish the old house and rebuild it was just by luck I found Sasser Construction's 2014 Homerama model on the internet. With the lot being on the water and having a septic tank, they quickly got all the permits so the new construction could begin. The project manager Ray and office staff Sandra and Kelly were available to us daily with any questions. When we started framing we thought it would be nice to have windows overlooking the water upstairs. Kenny did the redesign of the upstairs bonus as well as modifications to the downstairs master that was also needed. All of this was done in few days so that construction would not be delayed with Brennan giving us the cost right away so that we could determine if it fit in our budget. Actually we ended with quite many change orders making this our dream home. They gladly accommodated us. We appreciate the advice Eric Sasser gave us on window sizes and the counterdepth refrigerator. We were not going to have a bath tub but Sandra advised us to have one which is really great since we will be welcoming our first grandchild soon. Since we moved in Kelly has arranged to have all the items on our walk thru list addressed. I could tell when I spoke to the subcontractors that the really liked working for Sasser Construction and this is evident in quality of construction we received. I cannot say enough about how happy we are. Thank you Eric Sasser and to all your staff.

Sasser Construction built our dream home exactly the way we wanted it. Even added some extra touches that went above and beyond. We broke ground in October 2016 and by May 2017 we were in our home and ready to welcome our second baby!! Thank you for building our dream home.

I have photographed several of Sasser Construction's projects. The rooms are always meticulously finished, making my job as a photographer easy. Also in talking to the homeowners they are always proud to have their home photographed.

We wanted to take a moment to thank and congratulate the entire Sasser team for an absolutely stunning job on our new home.
