*Authorized Heat & Glo and Quadra-Fire Fireplace Dealers* Saratoga Fireplace & Stove, located on Maple Avenue / Route 9 just north of the city of Saratoga Springs, was started in 1980. Father and son Tim and Jack Webb were selling masonry through their company, Saratoga Masonry, and decided to expand into selling wood stoves. In 1982, the firm added fireplaces, and Matt Thornton joined the company. Over the years, the company continued to grow, and today Wanda and Matt Thornton own and manage the business. Matt also serves as the company's lead designer. Saratoga Fireplace & Stove has a showroom at 437 Maple Ave/Route 9, which displays a broad variety of fireplaces and stoves and has a fully stocked parts center for do-it-yourself repairs. Our showroom is open Monday- Friday 9 a.m. -- 5 p.m, Saturdays 9 a.m. -- 2 p.m. and by appointment. We have a service crew on the road every day, ready to make immediate repairs to any fireplace or stove we installed -- no matter how long ago it was installed.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff from showroom to installation!!! We were unsure which wood stove we wanted and Chip answered countless questions and emails. The installation went smoothly and they took such care not to damage our home with removal of old stove and replacement. Highly recommend this company!

We had a used gas fireplace installed by a private contractor. The contractor could not get the fireplace to work properly. When we consulted with Robert at Saratoga Fireplace his instincts told him that things didn't sound right. He graciously sent one of his installers to look at the stove. It was determined the stove was not installed properly and a potential safety issue. This installer agreed to return and correct the faulty install. The installer was professional and did the correction quickly within the quoted price. We highly recommend Saratoga Fireplace & Stove. We are thankful that Robert's instincts prevented a potentially dangerous situation for our family.

Matt's professional manner was informative and very helpful while planning our gas fireplace project. When the crew arrived, we were delighted to see experienced craftsmen. The entire team was one of the most professional teams we have had to complete a project in our home. All work was completing in a timely manner and clean up was excellent. The finished fireplace is beyond our expectations. The catalog picture did not do it justice. We have received numerous compliments from our family, friends and neighbors. We are so glad that we chose Saratoga Fireplace & Stove.

Matt and his team completed two different projects for us. A gas fireplace and a high efficiency wood fireplace. Excellent advice, design and installtion staff. Both jobs completed on time and budget. Met or exceeded expectations in both cases. Some minor issues quickly corrected.

I recently remodeled a 250 year old carriage house and it was a huge under taking! I wanted the focal point of the home to be the fireplace, and it is absolutely beautiful! My original design was lackluster, but this company offered me great design suggestions and I could not be happier with the outcome.

We were very new to the "pellet stove world". Traditionally we've had wood stoves. Saratoga fireplace & stove have an excellent staff, very patient and their attention to detail is fantastic. They do NOT push you towards their pricey models, they get to know what your needs are and what your home needs are as far as heating goes. Fabulous showroom and wide range of products.
