I downsized from a suburban house to an apartment. The apartment was twenty years old and hadn’t been updated at all over that time. However the fundamentals were great – terrific spaces and outstanding views. I initially engaged Mont Albert Interiors to source furniture for the apartment. When Sara Lamana and I inspected the apartment, it was evident that a refresh of the apartment was needed in addition to new furniture. Sara gave me invaluable advice in determining the scope of works. As the project progressed, Sara liaised with the contractors. In particular, Sara spent some time with the painter to ensure the living area colours were just right. Sara went out of her way to fit in with the availability of contractors, and facilitated the progress such that I was able to move into the apartment on schedule prior to the settlement of my former house. Natisha then became more involved with the remainder of the project. We had several conversations about my study area where I typically spend a large part of my day. I had some ideas which Sara and Natisha ran with and developed. The final result included a bespoke desk and bookcase, plus a locally produced very elegant, shelving system. I now have a work area that is a pleasure to use. My accommodation completely suits my needs and is up to date. The furniture and fittings selected by Mont Albert Interiors have brought the apartment up to its full potential. The budget was quite reasonable, and more than outweighed by the value added to the apartment.

Sara, who leads Mont Albert Interiors has an innate creativity and professionalism which has enabled me to realise the dreams I had for the interior of my home. Especially valuable was the attention to detail and expertise in overall design so it worked effectively in combining old with new. The knowledge and skills set of the team along with research, listening to my wishes and me being introduced to new ideas was exemplary. I particularly liked the constant communication and the accuracy of the deadline along with my budget requirements. From the very beginning, Melissa actively listened to my requirements and worked to solve my soft furnishing needs. Natisha from Mont Albert Interiors has worked with me over the past six months to source many beautiful pieces for my home. She has transformed my living space into a stylish and inviting space that is also family friendly and practical. I now have gorgeous artworks, cushions, sheer curtains, rugs and lamps, as well as new furniture pieces and a stunning pendant light over my dining table. Natisha instantly understood my preferences and has made the whole experience very easy by sending me photos, lending me pieces, meeting tradespeople and deliveries at my house and always being patient and communicative. This project has been to select furniture and furnishings for a new town house after we moved from our former home of 40 years. Natisha and Sara have assisted us over many months and have exhibited patience and care. They have a keen eye for co-ordinating shape, colour and design and incorporating them with practical innovation. They have found highly suitable suppliers as the source of the many and varied items that we have required.
