Zillig Design is a genuine hand-craft manufacturing company of mosaic patterns and decors made of porcelain gres. Our products reveal strong connections with traditional ceramics from Amalfi Coast & Vietri, re-elaborated with a different artistic & shape attitude. Range of colours is wide from Mediterranean shadings such as blue, green, orange, white, honey-yellow, turquoise to darker brownish satin surfaces recalling mainly the colours of Earth’s elements. The ground material is always and only made of porcelain gres, a special blend fired at high temperature to allow the glazing of applied enamels with several effects, including the impressive Craquelè, as well as achieving brightness joined to resistance, strength and water-proof features so that the final product can last without losing its own personality. The main aspect of using such ground material gives the possibility to combine quality and creativity through Zillig Design experience where all the mosaic and décor programs are implemented with hand-made field-tiles sized in several options up to colour shadings among crystal and satin surfaces. All Zillig Design are suitable for various destinations and laying schemes from random pattern to full standard field and both for floor and wall tiling. Our mosaics are created from cut chips, hand-crafted glazed and then mesh-mounted by a very precise manual scheme. We have right appointed the skill of the hand as its landmark by choosing to privilege its genuine and original artisan attitude. Our “artefact” represents a direct connection or, better to define, “a sensory experience" that drives admires consciously to the beauty of the Amalfi coast.
