Root & Vine is fantastic. Their landscaping is gorgeous and reasonably priced. Their service is warm, responsive and professional. I relied on them for a staging a listing with 3 outdoor spaces. They came quickly, worked efficiently and time/cost effectively and I believe they will significantly add to impressions in photos and on showings and to overall market value. Thank you Root & Vine.

Daniel, Nick and his team of gardeners were such a pleasure to work with. They were responsive and professional throughout the process and created such a beautiful, colorful and lush looking courtyard for my building in the West Village of NYC. Our tenants were extremely pleased! Thank you guys!

This summer we wanted to add some planters and do some landscaping in the front area of our brownstone. I had a semi-specific idea of what I was looking for, which Daniel helped me refine and bring to life (all over Zoom!). His ideas for the space were great, and he was super easy to work with and very responsive. Plus, he gave a few different options that allowed me to stay under budget, while also leaving room to add more planters later on if I decide to. The crew that came to do the install were so nice, friendly and respectful, and gave me great tips for maintaining the plants. The result is beautiful, and our house is totally transformed. We would def use Root & Vine again!

Root & Vine Gardens manages and maintains the landscaping in our tree wells, courtyard and rooftop for our NYC Co-op. The owner, Daniel, is a true professional and expert in terms of knowing what is best for our circumstances. He is creative with choices and careful to stay on budget. His team does a great job of pruning and maintaining our landscaping throughout the spring, summer and fall. He also does winter plantings that endure harsh conditions and remain looking great. He responds to emails and calls quickly and is a pleasure to work with.

Daniel and Tina did an amazing job of transforming my 1400 Sq ft patio into an oasis. Tina did the design and Daniel executed. The staff that brought in the plantings were professional and very clean. Daniel and Tina were aware of the amount of sunlight the patio received and put in plantings that would flourish in the environment. They recommended a fabulous irrigation company so that the plantings would receive the right amount of water. The pricing was fair and they were very response from the quote to the end of the job. I highly recommend them.

I found Root and Vine through their beautiful pictures on Houzz. I told them I wanted a backyard similar to one I saw, but at a lower budget. Daniel came over to our house to meet. First of all, he is warm and kind, and was very sweet to my two year old. I found Daniel to be flexible about working within my budget, and a great listener to what my husband and I wanted. He had great design ideas, and hit the right note in terms of nudging us to make it beautiful but never pushing nor pressuring. The process went smoothly. This is a particular credit to them, because I contacted them very late in the season, leaving a very short time frame for the project. I called him frequently during the project, and he was always available to talk about the project, and receptive to our concerns/interests. The subs who worked here were polite and professional. Most importantly, the finished product is fabulous and quite what we hoped it would be. Daniel remains open to following up when we have questions, and is always responsive and helpful. We could not be happier and would not hesitate to recommend working with him wholeheartedly.

This team was a dream. They stuck to budget and completed the project on time. They were beyond knowledgeable and promptly answered emails and questions. When unexpected issues arose they solved the problem quickly. The completed garden was stunning beyond my expectations. I give them an A+ and highly recommend them without reservation.

My husband and I hired Daniel to address a sinking problem in our backyard and redesign the entire space with stone and plants native to New York. We now have beautiful garden patio and love the outdoor space. It was largely uncomfortable to use before we hired Daniel.

Roots & Vine Gardens provided a comprehensive plan and installation of landscape design and planting to suit the needs for our central Manhattan mission to the UN. The planning and detail has provided a wonderful and functional space year round. Daniel is great to coordinate with as he still works with us according to our upcoming events. This means we know there is one less thing to worry about. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Root & Vine Gardens as it is their straight forward approach to getting something done beautifully and within budget that makes them rare.

As Project Manager for a re-listed Real Estate property, I found Daniel available on a weekend to plan, design, and accessible to immediately install a rooftop garden to suit the owners needs with expedience and excellent quality of service. This was the bulk of the budget for the project and it was worth every penny in terms of re-sale value of the home.
