They are the real deal! We are very happy customers after Paintworks and Decorating skim coated, painted, installed new molding, and hung new interior doors throughout our 900+sqft co-op apartment. They did great work!

Sadly, we hired a sub-par contractor for our NYC Upper West Side gut-renovation. They did shoddy work and much of the painting and finishing had to be redone before our move-in. This is when I found and hired Paintworks & Decorating. Ricky and Ryan literally became our painting angels and turned a very awful situation around 100%. They were able to start immediately, sent an exceptionally efficient, talented, and kind crew to our apartment and turned our home into the beauty that we had originally envisioned. This is the company to hire. Great communication, attention to detail, and a true love of fine craftsmanship is what you will be getting. HIGHLY recommend!!!

We were on a tight schedule before we moved into our new place in Chelsea. Luckily these guys were able to squeeze us in the same day i emailed, sent us a written estimate within a few hours and were able to paint the next day! They painted the whole place in one day. PaintWorks and Decorating is a superb company. When I called Ricardo, I was responded to quickly. When told him the details of my home interior painting, he assured me him and his team would get everything done. In one days go the entire team came to my home, quickly reorganized and covered my furniture, then left my living room and dining room forever changed. What was a bland cream became a beautiful periwinkle. They only use the best Benjamin Moore Paints and his team was wonderfully clean. In comparison to other painting companies I've tried, PaintWorks is a cut above the rest. Thank you Ricardo, for making my home beautiful again

Project went very well. Ricky was quick to respond. I texted him some pictures so he could get an idea of the space. He texted me to confirm appointment the next day. He brought a color book to help us narrow down on the color choices. The work was done the next day and we love the new look and feel. They were able to fix our holes and stuff no problem.

Overall, Paintworks did a terrific job repainting my 1 bedroom condo. They did the work significantly faster (1 day vs. 2+ days estimated by competitors) and significantly cheaper than the other quotes I received. My only complaint is that, in a couple of areas, the work was a bit sloppy and it looked like they didn't use painter's tape. However, Ricky came by later in the week and was able to fix many of these issues.

My tenants were moving out and I needed the apartment to painted back to fresh white asap. These guys responded to my inquiry within minutes and were there the next day to give me a quote. Sent me a professional proposal with scope of work. They patched all the holes and completed the project in 1 day. The apartment looks great! Will use them again for my other rentals.

Paintworks & Decorating was great. After having our walls smoothed out by another vendor, we were in a pinch and needed someone to quickly paint our large living room walls and ceiling. Within a day or two we were able to coordinate a date and time for services. They even recommended a white paint color for us to use and went ahead and picked that up and included the cost in their estimate. The men who arrived to do the work were cordial and did an impressive job; somehow they managed to use far less paint than we did when we painted upstairs! Overall, we were very happy with the work and felt the price was fair.
