Davonport designs and manufactures luxury bespoke kitchens to order. All our furniture is handcrafted in our Colchester workshop on the Essex & Suffolk border using only the highest quality materials. Each kitchen is made to order, which means our designers start every project with a totally fresh perspective. Led by Richard Davonport, we have been combining traditional cabinet-making skills with resourceful building techniques to create kitchens of distinction for almost 30 years, for homes across Essex and the Home Counties. We recommend making an appointment to visit our award-winning Colchester showroom where you can draw inspiration from our wide range of classic and contemporary kitchen displays. You’ll also be invited to take a guided tour of our workshop and enjoy a relaxed consultation with our experienced designers in our private meeting room.

We could not be happier with our Davonport kitchen and the service we received was amazing. It is really refreshing to deal with a company who really do care about their customers and have so much pride in the end product. Full of fantastic ideas and a 'can do' attitude, nothing was too much trouble and the kitchen was designed and built to fit our exact needs. Yes, you pay a bit more for a bespoke kitchen, but you finish with the perfect kitchen rather than a compromise. If you are thinking of a new kitchen and want to work with a company that will go the extra mile and build a beautiful kitchen, you must speak to Davonport.

We were concerned our space wasn't big enough for the kitchen I wished for. Richard, however, assured me that we could turn it into a fantastic design. Davonport have now installed our kitchen, it is a room beyond our dreams and I have my island. Richard designed a kitchen around our likes and dislikes, he even asked if we are right or left handed….and the end result not only suits our lifestyle and needs perfectly, but far exceeds our expectations. The excellent installations team from Davonport worked full days and we now have our dream kitchen well in time for Christmas and on budget!. We have been thoroughly delighted with the design process from start to finish, the installation, the attention to detail and the quality of the first rate build of the furniture. We would recommend Davonport to our friends and family for all these reasons.
