We love these guys! We bought a fixer that needed to be totally refurbished. The closet space was decrepit and inefficient. RC came out and accurately measured the spaces and came back with designs that added storage space and BEAUTY to our rooms. Their communication was timely throughout the process and they were great about following up with us after each phase. We have already highly recommended them.

Using an existing closet space, we removed all elements to the studs. Malka expertly designed a plan that incorporated all of our requirements and specifications: a place for everything and everything in place. Our goal was to build a highly functional but aesthetically pleasing closet and the project included flooring, area rug, custom cabinets with customized details, paint, hardware, lighting, upholstery. Malka is fabulous.

Malka viewed 3 potential projects and designed each one. The first was the master closet which looks great. There was an installation issue that required a subsequent disassembly of part of the closet which was redone and reinstalled. I don't know who was responsible for the issue. We've been pleased with Malka's responsiveness and designs.

We hired RC Cabinets to build high-end cabinets for a combination laundry/mud room and a large entertainment center in connection with remodeling a home in Sebastopol. The experience was deeply disappointing. Despite extensive communications, RC made numerous errors in their shop drawings -- such as getting the dimensions of the rooms and of the cabinets wrong despite having detailed architect's drawings to work from, getting the cabinet depths wrong, misaligning cabinets that should have been aligned, etc. My husband fixed mistake after mistake in their drawings. After the drawings were finally done, progress ground to a halt without explanation. Multiple emails and phone messages to Chris Hall went unanswered. Our contractor called Chris, and Chris wouldn't call him back. This happened over and over again. Finally, six weeks after this process started, we called and got a voicemail saying that Chris was going to be out of the office for a month on vacation. He continued to be non-responsive. Once or twice he committed to get back to us, but never did. Eventually in September it became obvious that they had not even started on the work that was supposed to have been done in July, and had lied to us about the status. Our contractor called one last time, and Chris hung up on him. It is impossible to see any reasonable explanation for this highly unprofessional conduct.

They designed and built us a beautiful bathroom vanity. For which I was struggling to find. I ended up with a vanity that was perfect for our space. I absolutely love it! I would highly recommend the service of RC Cabinets and would definitely use them again.

Malka and RC Cabinets & Closets did such a great job on my storage and closets that I called them again to create a home office for my back room this year. I love my new home office with a place for everything from pencil drawers to files and plenty of book shelving. The cabinets are made of custom painted wood with a beautiful cherry wood counter with sturdy rocky mountain pulls from Bauerware of San Francisco.

I worked with Malka at RC cabinets to design& build my master closet. I share the closet with my husband. Previously our home had a his and her closet, but we knocked down the wall to create one large space. For the design, Malka had great suggestions. She took extra care to see how we use the space and suggested lots of useful additions like extra hooks, tie racks, and spaces for hanging various items. After we met, she designed digital renderings of the space. While I loved what she created, it ended up being more than I wanted to spend. Luckily, she was understanding and drew up a similar plan set to a budget that I could work with. Our closet is beautiful and well thought out. We have plenty of shelves and pull out drawers which eliminates the need for a dresser. The carpenters who installed the project did a beautiful job and were very respectful of my home and pleasant. Overall, my experience was wonderful. Malka really knows what she's doing and designs closets that not only look great, but fit your exact needs. I can't wait to hire her again.

I worked w/Ingrid Ramsey to help design & build out 3 closets & 2 benches in my bay window. Ingrid was very helpful throughout the process & was able to match my vision perfectly! Her attention to detail & knowledge about her craft was very useful. The installers were on time & very trustworthy. They even remembered to lock the doors after they were done! The final outcome is stunning! I am very happy w/the new additions to my home. I would highly recommend RC Cabinets for any cabinetry work you need.

My home office was transformed into a shoe "shrine" and an organized office space. Malka was amazing to work with and helped me make my vision into a reality. I was so happy with the services, I hired RC Cabinets and Closets again to do all 5 of my closets. A lot of time was spent discussing my needs and measuring out each space to accomplish what was needed. I hired Evelyn Alexandre to design a bathroom cabinet. The area was small and challenging to say the least and I was very impressed with what she was able to produce. She came up with a brilliant design that allowed for the capacity and functionality I needed and used the space in a very creative way. I got vertical and horizontal storage with alternating depths, it's an aesthetic I never tire of. Best of all, it was a pleasure to work with Evelyn, she's very collaborative and really considers her clients lifestyle. She got to know me and how we use our bathroom to create something brilliant. I'll definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone I know needs space design and cabinets.

I had closets and extra shelf space added in my garage--also folding table and storage added to laundry room--very professional and clean work--good use of space. UPDATE: Malka and RC Cabinets & Closets did such a great jobs on my storage and closets that I called them again to create a home office for my back room this year. I love my new home office with a place for everything from pencil drawers to files and plenty of book shelving. Obviously this company is very experienced in the creating the best designs and cleanest installation. The designer Malka thoroughly reviewed my clothing inventory and measured my closet designing it to be efficient, maximized and beautifully organized. I love my closet now. Never knew it was this large and spacious. never knew it could be this nice.
