Rick and Randy McGuire are leading and innovative builders in the West Texas and South Plains area. They have successfully completed many complex custom projects and are known for outstanding customer service. The McGuire’s build in all price ranges and in most of the desirable locations. They are also known for their work with West Texas farmers and ranchers. The McGuire’s were born in Lubbock and lived in the community for the vast majority of their careers. Both are active members of the community and the building industry, and past presidents of the West Texas Home Builders Association (WTHBA). Rick is currently serving as President of the Texas Association of Builders (TAB). Rick was the 2009 TAB “Builder of the Year”. Randy specializes in custom designs. He is known for his traditional designs, and for his cutting edge ideas. His work with leading national architects has brought the latest designs to West Texas.

I'm a Landscape Architect and operate a landscape design/build firm in Lubbock, Texas. I have enjoyed immensely working with Randy and Rick! They're always open to new and creative solutions to the outdoor spaces associated with their homes. They give me freedom to "think outside the box" with my landscape design! Great builders! They are unique in this market and I highly recommend them!

We are in the process of getting our home built by the McGuires. This is our first time to experience the building process and things couldn't be going any smoother! We have encountered some potential stumbling blocks along the way, but Randy and Rick have navigated us through them with ease! They are a great team and have guided us through all of our decisions. On top of being great people, they are also experienced, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to work with you on a personal level! We brought them a piece of paper with scribbled down plans on it and they have really brought it to life!

Our neighbor highly recommended McGuire builders (Randy and Rick) to us. They are in the process of building our farmhouse cottage. To say they are top notch, is an understatement. They have gone above and beyond to treat us with respect, communicate, work tirelessly on the amazing design of our home, and make sure we are happy with the results. A home is a huge investment, and we feel completely comfortable, safe, and proud of our builders. They are fantastic in every facet of the process. Their experience will help you achieve the end results you desire. Take them into consideration if you are designing from the ground up or already have a specific design put together.

Texas Pecan Wood has worked with McGuire Builders on several of their beautiful homes, supplying pecan slabs and fireplace mantles. They are excellent craftsmen with an amazing ability to incorporate raw, natural beauty with contemporary design. Honest, reliable and very pleasant to work with !
