It has been an amazing experience working with Qiming on our new construction. Qiming is very candid, experienced, detail oriented, and most of all she treated the project as her own house. We had done a few small remodel projects before, and we were sometimes struggled to move things forward and felt we had to constantly keep an eye on the site. Those experiences made us a bit hesitant with building a new house, but Qiming has made it a very pleasant experience. She takes great initiatives with excellent planning and coordination skills; the construction phases connected smoothly, and we don't even need to push or check in. The projects are of high quality, we are building a small house and were worried about dimensions which turned out to be quite accurate. Our neighbors also speak highly of how the constructure site has been managed. Qiming built her own houses so she can really think and speak from the owner's perspective and provide constructive suggestions and feedback. I definitely would recommend SVB to any of my friends who wants to build a high-quality house in the area.

I purchased a new home built by SVB/Qiming that has exceptional quality and detail throughout. Although I was not her primary client in the build (the developer was), she has very willingly and helpfully engaged directly with me on many issues to help finish off all open items in the home. Her most impressive qualities as a GC are: (1) her lightning fast responsiveness to any question, always going above and beyond (2) her helpfulness in coming up with solutions for clients even if not directly financially impacting her (3) most importantly, her willingness to stand by her work and show up to fix even the most minor detail if not perfect (she does not avoid or make excuses like many other GCs I've worked with). I have already, and will continue to highly recommend Qiming and SVB.

SV Builder is great and reliable - we moved in our new house a year ago and wanted to write a second review. Just calling out a few positive experiences. Project Timeline. We started the project in summer 2019 and then pandemic hit. There was understandably some delay but they made a tremendous effort to help us move back in before Christmas 2020. Pricing & Billing. Throughout the project, their pricing and billing have been transparent and reasonable. I recalled there were things we decided we didn't want (e.g., no more glass next to the kids bathroom) and they proactively told us they were going to take off an amount without our asking. Fixes after move-in. We moved in a year ago. They continued to be responsive and accommodating to our small issues and requests.

We hired Qiming to rebuild our house based on a friend’s recommendation. Qiming is professional, easy to work with, and familiar with the local building codes. Qiming managed to complete our project despite the challenges of a pandemic. Qiming paid attention to what mattered to us, and went the extra mile to bring our visions to life.
