Richard knows his stuff. Very pleased with all the work, suggestions, products and coordination with the company (finishedbasement.ca) that worked on my basement project. Richard provided solutions to every issue that popped up and helped coordinate solutions with the construction crew... from getting a niche for my projector instead of a ceiling mount, to installing soundproofing measures for my in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. He gave me options when it came to choosing the right products and he was always available and responsive when I had questions. I love the end result. First off, I am "THAT GUY." I read every review and research thoroughly before commencing any project. That said, after choosing finishedbasement.ca to complete our basement, I told them that, despite "having a guy" for A/V, I would meet their guy. Immediately upon meeting Rich, I made the decision to go with him and PureCI. His knowledge was readily apparent, suggesting relocating the existing upstairs AV equipment - which is located in the basement - that other companies had seen as an obstacle to be worked around (which significantly hindered our desired layout). And, despite my NUMEROUS questions, and frequent indecision, throughout the process, Rich was always accessible and never once showed frustration, nor did he try to "up-sell". In fact, quite the opposite: He was honest and transparent throughout the process and was a pleasure to deal with. Moreover, the system sounds - and looks - great...right down to the smallest of details, such as the paint-matched speakers. Both the theatre and "regular TV area" turned out great. We hired Pure CI to complete some upgrades to our residential Control4 system. We've had two companies look after us in the past but were not happy with either (the first went out of business without informing us, and the second was not only very expensive but also left us less than satisfied with the work as we regularly had new glitches to deal with). Pure CI completed our complete home automation package from scratch. From the beginning of our custom build dream home right up to the final programming of the system. Lighting, speakers, security, television, blinds, thermostat - you name it they automated it and perfected it. Simple and easy to use through our smart phones or in home tablets the system is highly recommended. The team of installers and programmers are kind, courteous, professional and respectful. Richard and Dave were fantastic through the whole process. Helped us learn the system and customized to our needs. Very happy with the outcome and the ease of 'controlling' our home.
