Palfreeman Sweeney Architects is a boutique architectural studio committed to design excellence. Vanessa Palfreeman and Andrew Sweeney established the practice in 1997 and have been creating projects of beauty and substance ever since. We pride ourselves in providing a very personalised service centred on the expectations and desires of our clients to which we bring a wealth of architectural experience and knowledge. Ours is a very collaborative process in which we work closely with our clients, consultants, builders and other experts to achieve results that we hope always exceed initial expectations. Our focus is on design and in particular, environmental responsive design, and how it respond to all sorts of stimuli: the local urban environment, the movement of the sun, the use of energy, sustainability, liveability, creativity, style and comfort. Our creative process is enhanced by approaching each project as exclusive and unique and a desire to understand our clients and their brief to the fullest as the design evolves and refines. We consider projects from our two distinct and differing viewpoints to enable a number of options to be examined before arriving at what we believe is the best outcome. Palfreeman Sweeney Architects has since its inception, relied upon the strength of word of mouth and referrals to prosper and for more than twenty years we have enjoyed connecting with new clients who have already seen our built projects or who have contacted us via a recommendation from their friends.
