After interviewing several custom home builders, we decided to trust the build of our new home to Priester Custom Contracting. We loved that it was a family owned business and thought it would be easier to navigate the many questions that we knew we would have, since it was our first custom home. Trust me...we had questions!! I worked more closely with Tommy Priester, through the build and design portion of the house, and my husband worked more closely with Shelley, Tommy’s wife, who handles all the aspects of the business side. We can’t say enough about their team. The challenge was there because this was “our first rodeo” but Tommy helped us with any and all questions that we had through the process. He explains each process, as it happens, and makes sure you are comfortable with everything. If you have any obstacles, he will sit down and discuss different avenues on how to approach them. His contractors are all professional and very accommodating.....We were a little sad when some of them finished because we really enjoyed watching their work. We heard so many negative stories about building a custom home....we didn’t have that feeling at all. We can’t say enough about Priester Custom Contracting. They both made it so easy and we now feel like we have gained new friends. We would highly recommend Tommy and Shelley Priester, with Priester Custom Contracting, to build your new home.
