Hi Karen,

Thank you for taking the time to write up a review, however unflattering it may be. That being said, we feel that it may be overly harsh, particularly when taking into consideration the entire order process, from initial enquiry, to point of order, to delivery.

The entire quoting process went smoothly in our opinion, with frequent, regular, and pleasant contact between both parties via e-mail and telephone (excluding a few unanswered calls, which turned out to have been made after office hours). There was a good and clear exchange of information regarding the product being quoted (and subsequently ordered), as well as formalities such as payment terms, costs, and manufacturing and delivery times. Upon order, we even offered a glazing upgrade at no extra cost. In light of the above, we feel that being named 'utterly terrible' in terms of customer service is uncalled for.

There indeed had been a mishap as to the interior trims which were to have been included with the windows, as it seems that either a few were missing and/or too short. This was certainly a surprise to us, since they had been quoted and manufactured in accordance with our contracted fitters' notes following a site survey, and were certain that everything had been packaged with the new windows. For reasons we are looking to resolve, there was a breakdown in communication between ourselves and our contracted fitters regarding why there was a problem in the first place. We were aware that this was taking time, and we did not shy away from admitting to having made a mistake, even if it wasn't entirely clear why it had even occured to begin with. Regarding 'a bigger job', this was not meant to imply that it was more lucrative or anything of the sort, but rather 'big' in the sense that our fitters were currently in the middle of a large job that was time-consuming, and weren't sure whether they'd finish in time.

We have successfully completed a multitude of small-scale projects in the UK and elsewhere over the span of our career, whether supply-only orders, or ones with an installation service as well. We are the first to admit that this order, although having been satisfactorily completed the end of the day, endured a few 'bumps' in the final phases. However, the windows had been initially delivered securely, and subsequently installed and sealed off well within our standard lead time, and the exposed internal foam-filled cavities did not pose a health or safety threat to the client or their family. As the main and most important part of the order had been done well and without a hitch, we feel that we are deserving of a less-harsh review and a higher rating than one star out of five.
