We worked with Pippa Paton Design Ltd on the renovation of a property in Oxfordshire. The communication, information and attention to timelines was fantastic and made our job far easier. We will hope fully be working with PPD on future projects.

We've worked with Scott and Pippa Paton on about four projects and we're always so impressed by their professionalism and, above all, their eye for detail. As an interiors contractor (supplying floor and wall finishes) we work with a wide range of clients from homeowners to interior designers/architects - and someone like the team at Pippa Paton Design is our ideal client! They have a respect for the materials and processes involved in every site they work on, and we've seen first hand the sensitive and innovative approach they take to each design challenge.

I commissioned PPD Ltd. during the conversion of my Cotswold stone barn in 2012/13. I had a clear idea of the finish and feel of the interior I wanted to create but with so many details to resolve I needed help! The brief included looking in detail at room layouts and interior spaces, placing of furniture and lighting and help with product selection. This started early with review of the floor plans and site visits. I had prepared some of my own mood boards for particular rooms and Pippa was able to take these to another level, helping me to specify finishes and colours which would provide a harmonious overall solution in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas. Scott was extremely helpful in advising on lighting control systems, assisting with installation of some finishes and providing technical input when it was needed. Their attention to detail and hands-on approach meant that I was able to seek their advice about many aspects of the interior design during the build. This was invaluable. Since moving in in 2013 I have continued to finish interior projects drawing on all the experience gained during the enjoyable time working with Pippa and Scott. Now that the barn is finished I am extremely happy with how all the work put in has produced the result I was hoping for. I couldn't have achieved this outcome without their input!

Scott Paton project managed the major modernisation and refurbishment of a repossessed semi-detached terrace house in North Oxford on our behalf. Pippa gave invaluable advice on colour schemes,fabrics, materials and decor (including lighting) where fortunately we found ourselves fully in accord with her excellent taste. They were co-operative and easy to work with, and the follow-up service was very good. We were very happy with the end result of our collaboration with them

Pippa Paton Design re-vitalised our London home with fresh thinking, innovative suggestions and great choices of fabrics, furniture, paint colours and accessories. Antique pieces which we wanted to keep were incorporated into the scheme and in one case given a new lease of life with bold new upholstery which has been much admired. Their service and attention to detail was excellent with prompt responses to any enquiries, clear presentation of ideas with storyboard images and fabric swatches and accurate costings. Pippa sources truly original pieces, both contemporary and antique and both she and Scott took a careful brief to understand what we were looking for.

Pippa Paton Design supported us through the complete renovation of our Grade II Cotswold farmhouse, from concept to completion. Their combination of imagination and pragmatism helped us to ditch what we thought we should have, and unlocked the family house we really wanted. Scott's support and advice before and during the project was invaluable, and Pippa's eye for the "right thing" was unerring. 12 months after we moved back in we are still enjoying all the ideas that were part of the original design process, including the surprising amount of natural light throughout the house, the space and relaxed feel, and the blending of original features with modern fit-out. Scott and Pippa Paton designed and project managed a large kitchen extension on our Victorian Old Rectory with an additional bathroom above to act as an ensuite for the Main Guest Room on the first floor. I gave them a specific brief that I wanted a lot of light in the kitchen but also needed the exterior to blend in with the existing building. They were brilliant about the overall design and completely took on board the concept of producing a modern design that was still compatible with the Victorian main building. Pippa was unbelievably thorough about ensuring that I had everything in the right place for my needs. I can only say that, 3 years down the line, I do not think that she got a single thing wrong - quite a feat as one end of this large room includes a personal office space for me, as well as the brief for a kitchen that has to be fit for a great deal of entertaining, sometimes in large numbers. She was also excellent at producing appropriate finishes for floors, cupboards, walls, curtains etc. for me to choose from. Scott, on the other hand was fantastic at dealing with the contractors, making them keep to budget and meticulously checking the brief was being interpreted correctly. It is hard to imagine such a big project causing me such a minimum of fuss. I can only say that the finished product has provided a great deal of pleasure not only for us as a family, but for all our many guests. One of the aspects I particularly thought that Scott and Pippa took on board was the ability to incorporate our modern art (quite a lot of it) into their designs, their outstanding grasp of modern lighting, and the idea of a working kitchen in the country. On the back of this success they then redecorated our main Hall, staircase and landing with in addition new lighting so as to show off the art on display there. Again an outstanding success. Highly recommended!

Scott and Pippa put inbuilt cupboards through out my newly bought London house. The also installed sounds systems, gas fire and carried out roof work on the property. All aspects of the project were carried out thoroughly and professionally and I couldn't recommend them more highly to anyone wishing to undergo similar work. The contacts they have and the contractors they use were all reliable and polite and the whole process was seamless.

We bought a large house in need of complete refurbishment, but lacked the skills to design and supervise the works ourselves. We considered a small number of designers and the decision to instruct Pippa Paton was easy. She impressed us with her portfolio, her style, manner and obvious professionalism. We have nevr regretted it. Pippa came up with a wondrful scheme and excellent materials (fabrics, papers, furniture, etc, etc.) We discussed her plans and proposals, adding our thoughts and preferences, and the scheme came together easily. Scott Paton became the project manager, and was indispensable. The works were substantial and the project included many aspects in addition to design and refurbishment; e.g., new kitchen, lighting, lots of new furniture and soft decor. Everything was perfect: well chosen, on time, and above all a wonderful result with which we remain extremely pleased. Indeed, Pippa and Scott have continued to support us very well when ineviable "snagging" and supplementary issues have arisen.

We were delighted to work with Pippa Paton Design Ltd on the Gloucestershire Village Estate by providing them with the Stanneus Bateau bath as a focal feature for one of the bathroom suites. It was an absolute pleasure to be a small part of such a wonderful renovation. The entire design is faultless in its sympathetic simplicity and use of natural materials throughout. Natural yet luxurious they created a serene and calming environment. We could not recommend them highly enough and look forward to seeing the results of future projects.
