Nu-Life Kitchens is a locally owned business started in 2007 by Mark Bjornson and Sheri Anderson. The company has grown from a basic cabinet refacing company to a full service renovation company offering cabinet refacing products and services, countertops, tile backsplash, renovations such as wall removal, painting, flooring installation, plumbing and electrical services. Since 2010, we have offered our clients our 800 square foot showroom where door colors and styles, countertops, and handles can be viewed and where we can help you pull your project together. Our company employs 6 office staff, 4 cabinet refacing installers and a number trades to bring Nu-Life to your kitchen. We pride ourselves on professionalism, customer service and co-ordination of projects. This year we have introduced NaturaStone Quartz to the Winnipeg market and it will be fabricated locally in Winnipeg by Nu-Life Kitchens. NaturaStone Quartz is a low maintenance countertop that is stain and moisture resistant. It is also a budget-friendly quartz that combines well with our cabinet refacing products. In 2017, we will be celebrating our 10th year anniversary of bringing Nu-Life to kitchens of Winnipeg and the surrounding area. _____________ Cabinet Refacing by Nu-Life Kitchens is an excellent alternative to replacing your entire kitchen. Our kitchen project just wrapped up, and my wife and I are pleased beyond our expectations. Working with Sheri and Mark was great, and Angie had the schedule so precise that if the plan was to have an electrician there on Tuesday at 10:30, he was there at 10:29. The trades that NuLife work with are friendly and trustworthy, and do great work. Absolutely NOTHING went off plan, and that's almost unheard of because old houses are never straight or square or level. I give Sheri and Mark and their team my highest recommendations.

What started as a plan to just repaint my cupboards turned into a bit more of a project - but wow are we glad we did! My parents used Nu-Life when the company was just starting up close to 10 years ago and the cabinets are in just as good of shape today as the year they were put in. Calling Mark and Sheri was an easy decision for us. Sheri came in with some great decorating suggestions - and I am so glad I listened to her recommend the pull out drawers instead of lower cabinets. I thought I could save a few dollars and just do 1/2 the island with drawers and 1/2 with cupboard doors - but she insisted I would regret it. She was right - if I had not listened to her I would have been kicking myself. She showed us many pictures and left samples for us to live with for a few days and then met with us at their location to go over some final details. She made some suggestions but, for the most part, just guided us along to help us make our own decisions. Mark then came in to do the measuring - he is meticulous, no detail was overlooked. Installation went exactly has planned, Angie made sure we knew the exact time each different trade would be coming through and what to expect. Everyone was on time, friendly and showed a great attention to detail. We had a few small hiccups along the way ... they were minor and Mark addressed them in no time. We are completely thrilled with our new kitchen and would not hesitate to use Nu-Life again in the future.

Thank you Christine for the review! Your kitchen looks amazing! Your selections have come together so nicely. We love the clean white counters against the dark cabinetry. The tile backsplash is gorgeous - so soft and natural. Pot and pan drawers are definately a bonus - so efficient and they make it easy to access the items at the back of the cabinet. Framing to the ceiling provides height to your kitchen, drawing your eye upward and making it feel more substantial. We also love the thicker countertop edge on the island - it makes a statement. Enjoy your kitchen!

We absolutely love our new kitchen! Sheri and Mark at Nu-Life were great to work with. Our installer Tim was fantastic. It looks like an entirely new kitchen, but at 1/4 the cost. We even changed our minds about getting the soft close drawers (a MUST) instead of just drawer fronts, after he installed the new lower pull out drawers (another MUST) and they were able to do it. Everything was done on time.

I am so pleased with my kitchen renovation. From my first meeting with Sheri I knew I had made the right decision!!. Everything was planned by Nu-Life Kitchens. No worrying about what electrician or plumber to pick or when to schedule them, etc. etc. I'm sure anyone that has done renovations knows what a hassle it can be scheduling everyone. They did everything I wanted to perfection. Final price was exactly as quoted. Sheri and Mark never tried to upsell anything or try and change my mind about what I wanted unless it was helpful and budget friendly. They worked with most of my existing cupboards which saved me a bundle of money and added some new ones, replaced the cabinet doors, new countertop, added a peninsula, new sink, faucet, light fixture and back splash. Their tradespeople were amazing, arrived as promised and so professional. I can hardly believe everything was done in two weeks. I still sit here in disbelief marvelling at how wonderful everything went. Kitchen went from drab to glam!! I am so confident recommending Nu-Life Kitchens. You will not be disappointed!! Nu-Life Kitchen was completely professional from beginning to completion of the job. All details were highlighted by in home visits followed up by e-mails and any questions were answered in a timely basis. There was no confusion with the contract. Time lines for trades people to arrive on the job were confirmed by e-mail and everyone arrived on the date and time specified with the contract.
